If it wasn’t for low standards, Mehdi Hasan would have no standards at all, especially when it comes to who’s running the country, and in his opinion, even a rapidly deteriorating Joe Biden is a more palatable option than former President Donald J. Trump.
Biden’s ongoing decay is becoming so obvious that even his biggest cheerleaders are no longer able to keep it under wraps, and in his latest mental misfire, he mixed up the location of the regime’s proxy war against Russia in Ukraine for Iraq, just the latest in a series of recent stumbles by the geriatric career politician who despite his advanced age, is running for reelection.
The far-left MSNBC pundit took to Twitter where he made a fool out of himself by sharing the octogenarian Democrat’s remarks that Vladimir Putin is “clearly losing the war in Iraq, he’s losing the war at home,” which Biden told reporters as he was leaving the White House on Wednesday.
“I mean, is it great that the Democratic president running for re-election is super-old and keeps forgetting words? No,” Hasan wrote.
“Is his likely opponent a twice-impeached, twice-indicted former president who called Tim Cook ‘Tim Apple’ and suggested we fire nukes to block hurricanes? Yes,” he added, referring to another media distortion of Trump’s words like the Charlottesville very fine people “on both sides” and the drinking bleach to treat COVID hoaxes.

“I mean, we have a two party system sadly and if the choice is between Biden’s memory, competence, intellect, and honesty… and Trump’s, then I think it’s pretty clear where most Americans stand. It’s not a hard choice. Not a great choice. But still not a hard choice,” he added.

Twitter reacted to the MSNBC talking head’s mindless partisanship.
The amount of mental gymnastics you clowns pull off to defend Biden is insane

sucks that all democrates became Biden apologists, he is demoralizing a nation, there are 300m americans, there should be someone better

you have become a parody of what you used to be

Ugh Mehdi just stop with this.

Jesus Christ how low have you gone?
You are an embarrassment.
Spinning for senility, mediocrity, and comparing this to the same on the other side, as if that’s a good thing, and not the exact collapse we all see, except you stenographers and paid propagandists, is pathetic.

You a still an obedient beta tool with zero journalistic ability or integrity. You will do anything the Radical Liberal Left tells you to because you are so thirsty for relevance and acceptance.

That’s the dumbest shit I’ve heard in a long time.
Having an aware president is definitely better than having an incompetent one, even if you disagreed with him, if you cared about America of course.
Unless you’re just a leftist mouthpiece, then that’s “understandable”— Al Yafai (@south_yemen_1) June 28, 2023
Most craven partisan so called journalist award winner!

Hasan’s disregard for the future of the country echoes similar remarks made by Joy Behar of “The View” who earlier this year proclaimed that even a senile Biden is a better choice than any Republican, yet another example of the left’s love of party over country.

“Well I’ll tell you something,” Behar said. “I’d rather have Joe Biden drooling than any Republican.”
