MSNOW makes bonkers claim that Trump convinced Americans not to trust media

If you need any more evidence that reporters these days live in their own delusional world, look no further.

MSNOW, formerly MSNBC, was covering the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner when it was claimed that President Donald Trump “convinced” Americans not to trust the mainstream media.

This take completely ignores the massive breakdown in trust that took place under the Obama administration, which preceded Trump getting involved in politics in a meaningful way. The rise of conservative blogging was a direct result of Republicans and conservatives becoming distrustful of how the media at large was spinning the news and running cover for politicians, usually Democrats. If anything, Trump is a symptom of such distrust and not the cause.
