MTG fires back after Trump pulls support, threatens ‘ranting lunatic’ with primary challenge

President Donald J. Trump pulled his support and endorsement of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), a previously loyal ally who has gone rogue to become a vocal critic, much to the delight of Democrats.

In a Friday night post to Truth Social, Trump announced that he was cutting ties with “Wacky” Marjorie whom he described as a “ranting lunatic” who has “gone Far Left,” specifically mentioning the congresswoman’s recent appearance on “The View,” a festering snakepit of leftist hate where she was warmly welcomed by the hosts who clearly saw her as a useful idiot to divide the MAGA movement against the president.

Choosing to not be a team player during the “Schumer shutdown,” Greene parroted Democrat talking points about unaffordable healthcare, griped about Trump’s focus on foreign policy as he cleans up the Biden regime’s dangerous messes, and has joined her friends across the aisle in demanding the release of the Epstein files, perhaps the final straw for Trump who has had enough.

“I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia. Over the past few weeks, despite my creating Record Achievements for our Country including, a Total and Complete Victory on the Shutdown, Closed Borders, Low Taxes, No Men in Women’s Sports or Transgender for Everyone, ending DEI, stopping Biden’s Record Setting Inflation, Biggest Regulation Cuts in History, stopping EIGHT WARS, rebuilding our Military, being RESPECTED by every Country in the World (as opposed to being the laughingstock that we were just 12 months ago!), having Trillions of Dollars (Record Setting!) INVESTED in the U.S.A., and having created the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World from being a DEAD Country just 12 months ago (and so much more!), all I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!” Trump wrote in the scathing post.

In addition to giving her one of the catchy nicknames that he has used to define his critics, Trump not only pulled his endorsement, but also said that he will back a primary challenger in her Georgia district.

“It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn’t about to get!). She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead,” Trump continued.

“I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day. I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support. She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors,” he concluded.

“No one cares about the foreign countries. No one cares about the never-ending amount of foreign leaders coming to the White House every single week,” Greene complained to NBC News.

“We didn’t elect the president to go out there and travel the world and end the foreign wars,” she added. “We elected the president to stop sending tax dollars and weapons for the foreign wars — to completely not engage anymore. Watching the foreign leaders come to the White House through a revolving door is not helping Americans.”

The fiery congresswoman reacted to Trump’s post with one of her own, sharing private text messages in which she defended her obsession with Epstein.

“And of course he’s coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files,” MTG said. “It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level.”

“But really most Americans wish he would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign causes, are going broke trying to feed their families, and are losing hope of ever achieving the American dream,” she added. “That’s what I voted for.”

“I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him,” Greene wrote. “But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump”

Asked about Greene by reporters while onboard Air Force One on Friday night, Trump rejected her criticism that he has spent too much time meeting with foreign leaders.

“She has very different thinking than I have. Something happened to her over the last period of a month or two where she changed I think politically,” Trump said. “I think that her constituents aren’t gonna be happy. Already, I have people calling me, they want to challenge her to a race in her district in Georgia and you know, that’s too bad.”

“She’s lost a wonderful conservative reputation, but when she says don’t go overseas, if I didn’t go overseas, we might be in a war right now with China,” he added.
