U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) posted a video to show why the story that her left-wing colleague Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) told about why he pulled a fire alarm doesn’t add up.
The hotheaded New Yorker allegedly went to unprecedented lengths to disrupt Saturday’s critical vote on a stopgap funding bill to prevent a federal government shutdown, committing a crime by setting off the alarm in the Cannon House Office Building, causing a brief evacuation.
Bowman was quickly identified as the culprit when he was caught in the act by surveillance video and then claimed that it was an accident, a lame excuse that fooled nobody but his fellow leftists and the fiery Georgian showed why he was blowing smoke in her 3-minute walkthrough that she posted to X on Monday.
Let me show you how easy it is to exit the Cannon building if doors are closed for the weekend.
No need to pull a fire alarm, you simply have to walk down some steps.
Jamaal Bowman knew what he was doing. He was trying to interrupt the vote.

“Let me show you how easy it is to exit the Cannon building if doors are closed for the weekend,” MTG wrote. “No need to pull a fire alarm, you simply have to walk down some steps.”
“Jamaal Bowman knew what he was doing. He was trying to interrupt the vote,” she added. “Bowman needs to be arrested and prosecuted on the same charges being used to imprison J6ers.”
Bowman personally addressed his actions after the incident.
“I want to personally clear up confusion surrounding today’s events. Today, as I was rushing to make a vote, I came to a door that is usually open for votes but today would not open.” Bowman said in a statement. “I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door. I regret this and sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused.”
Bowman had another fire to put out when a copy of a list of talking points circulated to House Dems on how to douse the fire alarm controversy, with one instruction being to just call Republicans Nazis.
Bowman’s office sent out this guidance to House Dem offices, looking for social media backup on fire alarm situation.
One proposed rebuttal: “Republicans need to instead focus their energy on the Nazi members of their party before anything else” pic.twitter.com/4gsQeMIRsR

“Republicans need to instead focus their energy on the Nazi members of their party before anything else,” read one suggested rebuttal.
Being the stand-up guy that he is, Bowman threw one of his staffers under the bus over the incendiary memo.
“I just became aware that in our messaging guidance, there was inappropriate use of the term Nazi without my consent. I condemn the use of the term Nazi out of its precise definition. It is important to specify the term Nazi to refer to members of the Nazi party & neo-Nazis,” the ticking human time bomb wrote on X after the memo was leaked to the press.

Also on Monday, the Capitol Police provided an update on the chaos at the Capitol that was set off by Bowman, stating that officers worked to evacuate people “floor-by-floor, while D.C. Fire & EMS responded.”
Without specifically mentioning Bowman, the police said “a man was seen trying to exit the door in the Cannon Building and then pulling the fire alarm that prompted the evacuation.” The police statement also said that officers “had previously placed signs with clear language that explained the door was secured and marked as an emergency exit only.”
