Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is joining Rep. Nancy Mace in tackling the issue of bathroom privacy, and the solution could be party separation.
In a message on X, Greene suggested separating bathrooms not just by gender, but by political party as well.
Here’s my women’s bathroom proposal:
Instead of making a trans bathroom, we should make a Republican women’s bathroom and a Democrat women’s bathroom, so all the Democrat women who agree with men using the women’s bathroom can share their bathroom with the mentally ill trans…

“Here’s my women’s bathroom proposal,” she wrote. “Instead of making a trans bathroom, we should make a Republican women’s bathroom and a Democrat women’s bathroom, so all the Democrat women who agree with men using the women’s bathroom can share their bathroom with the mentally ill trans biological men that they support. But NO biological men, no matter what level of dress up they play, are allowed in the Republican women’s bathroom.”
This message comes after Greene spoke on the topic during a segment on Steve Bannon’s ‘WarRoom’, addressing the “first trans member of Congress.”
There’s a man pretending to be a woman coming to Congress in January who expects to use the same restrooms as little girls visiting the Capitol.
I consider it assault for a man to charge into places that are designated specifically for women.

“He identifies himself as [Representative-elect from Delaware] Sarah McBride, his real name is Tim McBride,” Greene said. “So little Timmy is now going to be a member of congress in January, and little Timmy thinks he’s going to come in and stand at a – you know we don’t have urinals in the ladies’ room, he’s gonna be standing at a toilet, apparently, and trying to use the restroom with the rest of us women.”
“Let me tell you, this is an assault. I’m not kidding you, it is like a physical assault for a man to come in, charging into our private places, bathrooms, locker rooms, our gyms, places that are designated specifically for women only, not for men,” she continued, telling Bannon there is a members’ gym that is co-ed, but also a female only gym where ladies shower and change their clothes. Greene explained that there are no doors to the shower room, so the women would be exposed without their consent.
“So my specific question was, are we as women, going to be left to physically defend ourselves from a man who has no respect for us as women and as a matter of fact is so sick and mentally ill that he thinks he’s a woman, dresses like a woman, calls himself a woman, and has the audacity to come and charge in, that’s an assault. I see it as a physical assault when he is coming in our bathroom when we are in a position of weakness,” the representative emphasized.
“I asked Speaker Johnson what the men – you know our top three in leadership are men, the Speaker, the leader, and our Whip, all three men – it’s time for the men in this country to defend women from these sick, mentally ill men. I am so fed up with it, Steve, thankfully I’m going to report to all of you Speaker Johnson said there will be no biological men in our bathrooms and women’s private spaces.”
