Former GOP congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene said that she’s in talks with others to launch a “true America-focused” third party that could be an alternative to voters disgusted by the current political options.
Greene recently announced that she was leaving the Republican Party, less than six months after she quit Congress amid a raging feud with President Donald J. Trump, whom she publicly fell out with after years of being a loyal supporter.
“There is A LOT of us that are absolutely fed up and will not support a party that betrays its voters and country,” MTG wrote in a post to X last month, and she revealed her role in the creation of a third party during an appearance on Tuesday’s edition of “Piers Morgan Uncensored.”

Greene’s remarks came after host Piers Morgan asked about whether Tucker Carlson could potentially head up a “splinter version” of the GOP to take on the establishment.
She acknowledged the former Fox News host as a “great threat” to the uniparty if he chose to run for president and would draw the support of many Independent voters as well as disillusioned Republicans and Democrats.
“There is a group of us that have literally fought the system, and I think there’s a group of us that if we decide to align, we could launch a true America-focused party that doesn’t fall into the traps of Democrats and Republicans, but could align some serious players from the right and the left and move forward,” she told Morgan.
While acknowledging the “reality” of the difficulty of starting a third party, Greene dismissed any sort of immediate impact in what would be more of a long-term endeavor.
“I am in talks with people, and there are serious conversations happening, looking at what are the mechanics of that and the reality of it,” she told Morgan.
“I’ll also say this is it’s going to take the American people to get involved, and the American people are the ones that really push campaigns, and so if the American people truly want to give a strong challenge to the failed two-party system of America, then they’re going to have to step up,” she continued. “Because it’s not going to be a couple of players like Tucker and I and a few others that can roll up our sleeves and get this done. It’s going to take a serious effort from everyone.”
Trump has branded his former ally as “Marjorie Traitor Brown,” and MTG also dropped the t-word on the president.
Marjorie Taylor Greene just took her gloves off and said President Trump is an absolute traitor to the United States, and she regrets nothing.
“A traitor is someone who is working on behalf of a foreign country.”
“He’s been working on behalf of Israel, not America.”

“A traitor is someone who is working on behalf of a foreign country, and I would argue that’s what Donald Trump has been doing with war in Iran,” she said. “He’s been working on behalf of Israel, not America.”
“This war has not helped Americans one single bit; as a matter of fact, it’s cost Americans tens of billions of dollars, not only to their pocketbook, what they’ve had to pay at the gas pump and inflation, but also what it’s costing them in the budget,” Greene added. “Because here goes Congress having to spend hundreds of billions more because of his bombing campaign.”
“So, traitors work for foreign countries and not for the United States of America,” MTG declared, also tossing in a jab at Trump over the Epstein files. “I would say standing up to Donald Trump has been one of the best things I could do because I stood up on the principle of defending victims of rape.”
The tensions between Greene and Trump boiled over last year after she went rogue over the Epstein files and the government shutdown, even going so far as appearing on “The View” where she was warmly welcomed by the hateful harpies.

Trump finally blew his stack, excommunicating her from MAGA and announcing that he would back a primary challenger. With the relationship irreparably shattered, Greene would soon announce that she was resigning from Congress and is now a media darling.
