Elon Musk called out those “celebrating” the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, saying the left is the “party of murder.”
The tech billionaire condemned how some have been “openly” glorifying the death of the 31-year-old co-founder of Turning Point USA, who was killed while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University last week.
Musk’s comments came during a virtual call with activist Tommy Robinson in a clip that he reposted on his social media platform, X.
Elon Musk: Our friend Charlie Kirk was murdered in cold blood this week and people on the left are celebrating it openly. The left is the party of murder.

“There’s so much violence on the left, with our friend Charlie Kirk getting murdered in cold blood this week, and people on the left celebrating it openly,” he said in the video link during the “Unite the Kingdom” rally organized by Robinson.
“The left is the party of murder and celebrating murder. I mean, let that sink in for a minute, that’s who we’re dealing with here,” the Tesla and SpaceX CEO said.
Musk also addressed what he called the “woke mind virus.”
“A lot of the woke stuff is actually super-racist, it’s super-sexist, and often it’s anti-religion, but only anti-Christian, like why anti-Christian?” he said. “That’s unfair … that should be all that matters, the woke mind virus, that I call it, is against all that.”
Robinson noted, “This one is for you, Charlie Kirk,” in a post on X that recapped the rally where participants marched over Westminster Bridge and gathered near Downing Street to hear speakers.

A moment of silence was held for Kirk at the rally, and “Amazing Grace” was played on bagpipes.
