Billionaire Twitter owner Elon Musk has evidently joined the “preferred pronouns” bandwagon, but with one noticeable yet vital twist.
On Sunday he changed his Twitter profile to contain pronouns the way every leftist’s Twitter account contains them.
But instead of using the typical pronouns — he/him, she/her, they/them — he decided to have some fun with it.

The humorous pronouns attracted massive amounts of praise.

Those are good preferred pronouns. Anytime someone refers to him, they must refer to him as such!

As of noon Sunday, neither LGBT activists nor their media allies had yet responded to his pronouns, but a negative response was most likely incoming.
They are, after all, already upset with Musk at the moment because of his refusal to censor Twitter users who don’t use other users’ so-called “preferred pronouns.”
“LGBTQ advocates criticized Elon Musk on Thursday after the Twitter owner said he would allow users to freely misgender people on the social media site,” NBC News reported last Thursday.
“In a tweet on the first day of Pride Month, Musk said he personally uses the pronouns that someone – including a transgender person – prefers because it’s good manners, but that he wouldn’t enforce that policy on Twitter.”
View that tweet below:
This was a mistake by many people at Twitter. It is definitely allowed.
Whether or not you agree with using someone’s preferred pronouns, not doing so is at most rude and certainly breaks no laws.
I should note that I do personally use someone’s preferred pronouns, just as I…

He posted the tweet after Daily Wire co-CEO and co-founder Jeremy Boreing complained that a movie the Daily Wire had produced was being censored on Twitter because of the platform’s since-nixed misgendering policy.
“This was a mistake by many people at Twitter. It is definitely allowed. Whether or not you agree with using someone’s preferred pronouns, not doing so is at most rude and certainly breaks no laws,” Musk tweeted back to Boreing.
“I should note that I do personally use someone’s preferred pronouns, just as I use someone’s preferred name, simply from the standpoint of good manners. However, for the same reason, I object to rude behavior, ostracism or threats of violence if the wrong pronoun or name is used.”
As noted a second ago, LGBT activists and their media allies were outraged by this.
“Twitter was once a place where many marginalized people including LGBTQ people found community, and it’s become hostile,” Laurel Powell, a spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign, said to NBC News in a phone interview.
“What we’re seeing isn’t really about censorship or discrimination of ideas. It’s about the kind of company Twitter wants to be and the kind of world they want to shape,” she added.
Well, yeah, it is about “the kind of company Twitter wants to be,” because Musk has made it clear he wants it to be a FREE SPEECH PLATFORM, period.
By “free speech”, I simply mean that which matches the law.
I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law.
If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect.
Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people.

Dovetailing back to Musk’s new pronouns, there’s one tiny catch: It’s not his idea. Daily Wire host and commentator Matt Walsh originally came up with it during an appearance on the “Dr. Phil” show back in January.
“You don’t get your own pronouns, just like you don’t get your own prepositions or your own adjectives. It’s like if I were to tell you, my adjectives are handsome and brilliant, and whenever you’re talking about me, you have to describe me as handsome and brilliant, because that’s how I identify,” he said.
“[That] makes no sense. You don’t get your own pronouns,” he added.
Listen:
My preferred adjectives are handsome and brilliant. Please respect my self-identification.

During the “Dr. Phil” episode, Walsh also challenged an LGBT activist, Addison, to define the term “woman.”
“Womanhood is … something that I cannot define,” Addison replied.
“But you used the word. So what did you mean when you said trans women are women?” Walsh pressed.
“I do not define what a woman is because I do not identify as a woman. Womanhood is something that is an umbrella term,” Addison replied.
“That describes what?” Walsh pushed back.
“People who identify as a woman,” Addison shot back.
*facepalm*
