Democrats are in an uproar following Wednesday’s House Judiciary Committee grilling of Attorney General Pam Bondi after a photographer caught the nation’s top law enforcement official with a list of one lawmaker’s search history of the Epstein files.
In the shot taken by Getty’s Roberto Schmidt, one of the documents in Bondi’s binder was titled “Jayapal Pramila Search History,” referring to Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), one of the most radically left-wing members of the committee.

Jayapal and her fellow Democrats expressed outrage over the document and the idea that Bondi’s DOJ is monitoring the search activity of members of Congress. One GOP lawmaker also remarked on the creepy activity revealed by the shocking picture of the document.
Zeteo News reporter Prem Thakker caught up with Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) after the hearing and asked the outspoken Republican about her thoughts on the document.
“What do you make of the DOJ monitoring the search history as you go through the Epstein files?” Prem Thakker, a reporter for the progressive outlet Zeteo News, asked Mace in an audio clip posted to X by the left-wing MeidasTouch Network.
Mace on Epstein files: I’m pretty tech savvy. I’ve played around with the system. They’re tracking every file that we open. When we open it, they are tracking everything. You can see the way they are tracking you if you know where to look like I do. It’s like a Microsoft product… pic.twitter.com/fBJ70IZAhw

“I’m pretty tech savvy. I’ve played around with the system. They are tracking every file that we open and when we open it. They are tracking everything,” Mace responded.
“And you can see the way that they are tracking you when you’re logged in if you know where to look, like I do,” she continued.
When asked how she knew about the tracking, the congresswoman was mum.
“I don’t want to say because I don’t want them to hide it…,” she said. “But I can see how they’re tracking us. They give each of us a login with our name attached to it, and every single file that we open, regardless of if we even read it, every single file that we open, that file is tagged with our name.”
“So they get the search history and the files that we opened,” Mace added. “Everything.”
Jayapal reacted to the document of her searches in an angry post to X.
“It is totally inappropriate and against the separations of powers for the DOJ to surveil us as we search the Epstein files. Bondi showed up today with a burn book that held a printed search history of exactly what emails I searched. That is outrageous and I intend to pursue this and stop this spying on members,” she said.

“Pam Bondi brought a document to the Judiciary Committee today that had my search history of the Epstein files on it,” the progressive queen bee added in another post. “The DOJ is spying on members of Congress. It’s a disgrace and I won’t stand for it.”
“It is a violation of the separation of powers for them to essentially be monitoring our computer searches on the Epstein files,” he said. “I think it’s outrageous that they would do that! It’s Orwellian! And we’re going to have some more to say about it soon,” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, said.
“Yes. I will confirm. DOJ is tracking the Epstein documents Members of Congress search for, open, and review,” Mace said in a Wednesday evening post to X. “I was able to navigate the system today and I won’t disclose how or the nature of how; but confirmed the DOJ is tagging ALL DOCUMENTS Members of Congress search, open and review. Based on how I confirmed this, there are timestamps associated with this tracking.”

“I’m probably the last person you want in your software,” she added in another post
