Nancy Pelosi’s husband ‘violently assaulted’ in home invasion in San Fran, hospitalized

Amid crime being a central issue of the 2022 midterm elections, and Democrats feeling the wrath of American voters over criminal-friendly justice system reforms, Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband was “violently assaulted” Friday morning in a San Francisco home invasion.

“Early this morning, an assailant broke into the Pelosi residence in San Francisco and violently assaulted Mr. Pelosi,” spokesperson Drew Hammill said. “The assailant is in custody and the motivation for the attack is under investigation.

**Update: The alleged assailant used a hammer to attack Mr. Pelosi, according to several sources.

A joint threat investigation between the FBI, Capitol Police, and San Francisco Police has been launched:

“Mr. Pelosi was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving excellent medical care and is expected to make a full recovery,” Hammill added.

Speaker Pelosi was in Washington, D.C., on Thursday night, it’s not clear if she has returned to San Francisco, according to Fox News.

Paul Pelosi was just in the news after being arrested and charged with driving under the influence after a May crash in California’s wine country. He eventually pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence charges and was sentenced to five days in jail and three years of probation.
