NBC under fire for editing out NFL star’s praise of Jesus from social media clip

The media’s anti-Christian bias has been well established with the latest egregious example being NBC’s editing of remarks by NFL quarterback C.J. Stroud’s praise of Jesus in a clip posted to social media.

In the original version, the dynamic Houston Texans rookie sensation had just sliced and diced the Cleveland Browns in the AFC wild-card game when he was interviewed as he left the field by reporter Kathryn Tappen.

“First and foremost, I just want to give all glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” Stroud said before thanking the city of Houston and its fans for their support in his storybook season.

But that wasn’t the version that the network’s Sunday Night Football on NBC account posted to X, previously known as Twitter, where the budding young superstar’s comments were edited by the left-wing cultural cleansers.

“I mean, it’s been amazing being in this city for as short as I’ve been, but the love that I’ve got,” Stroud says in the doctored version. “I’ve really just been doing it for Houston, man. People back home, I’m blessed enough to be in this position I am. Blessed enough to be playing at a high level right now. And we gotta just keep it going, but I’m super blessed.”

“CJ Stroud has a lot of love for his city,” NBC posted with a heart emoji along with its sanitized clip.

The peacock was sacked for its banishment of Jesus by X users who came with an all-out blitz over its sanitizing of the praise of the lord and savior by the almost certain NFL Rookie of the Year.

“NBC edited out Houston QB CJ Stroud’s praise of Jesus Christ in their post-game interview posted to X. Why did @SNFonNBC remove Stroud saying ‘First and foremost, I just want to give all glory and praise to my Lord, Jesus Christ,’” wrote conservative news aggregator Citizen Free Press.

“It’s disconcerting to realize NBC is actively censoring a player praising Jesus after a massive win. Would NBC have censored his speech if he praised transgenders or Palestinians?” CFP asked.

“I have a feeling there are going to be a lot morepost-postseason-win interviews with him that the dinosaur media is going to have to edit as well. This young QB is outstanding!” Wrote former MLB star Lenny Dykstra.

More reactions.

“For me, it’s a lot of prayer,” the youngster said after a November win against the Cincinnati Bengals. “A lot of knowing that God wouldn’t put anything on me that I can’t handle. I don’t deserve His grace and His mercy but He still gives it to me and I love Him for that. It’s not about me, it’s about Him and His glory. So I think that’s where it comes from. I think God made me like that.

Exceeding all expectations after being picked second by the Texans in last year’s NFL college draft, the former Ohio State Buckeye star has played like a seasoned veteran as he did in tossing three touchdowns in his team’s 45-14 dismantling of the hapless Browns last Saturday.

Stroud will be tested this weekend in the playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens, a road game against a punishing defense in what could be frosty cold weather conditions.
