Somewhere out there, a high school football coach is smiling.
That’s what many X users suspect after viral video showed an unidentified man spectacularly tackling a LA rioter. As the blue City of Angels burns over the deportation of illegal aliens, many of whom have been proven to be career criminals, ICE and law enforcement officers have been under attack by those who want them to stay. Or at least, those who are likely paid to claim that they want them to stay.
In the clip, the rioter throws something at a law enforcement officer before they respond, presumably with something like rubber bullets. But that wasn’t good enough for the “hero” in white who swooped in with an offensive tackle worthy of a seasoned linebacker.

Likely an officer under cover as crowd observer. They use this tactic to identify and get the drop on leaders or identify those who should be taken into custody.
