Disgust looms when ‘DataRepublican’ ‘follows the money’ on funding behind ‘No Kings’ movement

A conservative data scientist has launched a dashboard that shows which left-wing organizations are funding the upcoming No Kings rally on Saturday.

Data scientist Jennica Pounds, who goes by “Data Republican” on X, published  the dashboard on Thursday to “shine a light on influence laundering.”

The dashboard lists dozens of organizations, including several chapters of the ACLU, several teachers’ unions, the American National Red Cross, the Tennessee Democracy Network, and the Tides Center.

The dashboard also shows what larger organizations are funding these groups. Take the American National Red Cross. Pounds’ dashboard shows that it’s being funded by a plethora of other groups, including the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, United Way of Central New York, and Johns Hopkins University, among others.

The No Kings rally is an anti-Trump protest being held on June 14 in part to counter the Trump administration’s June 14 parade to celebrate the Army’s 250th birthday.

Because the Army’s birthday also falls on President Donald Trump’s birthday, the deranged, unhinged left has accused the administration of hosting the parade as a birthday present to the president, versus as a birthday present to the Army.

But the No Kings rally is also about opposing the Trump administration in general.

“In America, we don’t do kings,” a mission statement from the organization behind the protest reads. “They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services. The corruption has gone too. far. No thrones. No crowns. No kings.”

Responding to Pounds’ dashboard, critics called for every organization funding the anti-Trump rallies to be targeted.

So, who is Pounds anyway? She’s a deaf software engineer from Utah who uses artificial intelligence technology to expose corruption and waste in the U.S. government, according to First Post.

“She served as the Senior Distinguished Machine Learning Engineer since 2023 at Upstart. Pounds previously had stints with Snap Inc., eBay and Amazon,” the outlet notes.

She left all that behind to perform her own, independent Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) type work.

DOGE founder Elon Musk is a huge fan of hers and has retweeted her posts several times in the past couple of months.

On January 21, for example, she reportedly posted that she’d discovered “a quick billion” in wasteful government spending for DOGE to eliminate.

“Noted,” Musk replied.
