Netanyahu delivers stern lecture to Tucker Carlson about ancient Israelites

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a stunning lecture directed at conservative commentator Tucker Carlson.

For the unaware, Carlson has been making troubling accusations about the Israeli Jews for the past couple of months, upsetting plenty of people in the process. Below is just one recent example.

During one recent conversation between Carlson and Sen. Ted Cruz, he incredulously asked the senator whether “the Jews in Israel under Netanyahu are the descendants of the ancient Israelites who are described in the Bible.”

Filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza later posed this same exact question to Netanyahu himself in an interview for his upcoming film, “The Dragon’s Prophecy.”

Then on Wednesday, D’Souza publicly released a clip from his upcoming movie showing the scene where Netanyahu answered the question.

“Of course, there’s no question about it,” Netanyahu said in the clip above, answering Carlson’s question. “The Jews spread from this land to various parts of Europe, to the Middle East, and elsewhere, but we never, never forgot this land. We said, ‘Next year in Jerusalem, next year in Jerusalem.’ My great-grandfather came here in the 19th century. Most of the Palestinians who are alive today came after him.”

“That’s what our history has been: on the one hand, regaining our ancient ancestral homeland, and on the other, developing a state that becomes a juggernaut of technology and development. We’re Silicon Valley in the Middle East, a democratic society in the face of enormous attacks from countries that want to annihilate us every day,” he added.

Continuing his lecture, Netanyahu directly addressed Carlson for habitually standing up for Israel’s enemies like Iran.

“Who is Tucker Carlson defending?” he began. “These are people who chant ‘Death to America.’ They’re after you. They want to destroy Western civilization. They want to destroy everything that America stands for. They say Israel is a small Satan. The big Satan is America.”

“The only place where Christians are safe in the Middle East is in Israel. Not tolerated—welcomed. They participate in our society. We take care of the holy places which are destroyed everywhere else. Churches are blowing up throughout the Middle East,” he continued.

Netanyahu then slammed Carlson for having even asked the question in the first place, going so far as to accuse him of not being genuinely MAGA.

So if Tucker Carlson is asking you that, then he has no idea—not just of Jewish history, but of history,” he asserted. “Who are these so-called defenders of MAGA defending? They’re defending the worst enemies on the planet against America. They’re not MAGA.”

“The people who speak of MAGA, they love America, and they love America’s values, and they don’t identify with the worst enemies that America is facing today in the world,” he added.

Netanyahu concluded with a tribute to President Donald Trump.

“President Donald J. Trump, the greatest friend that Israel has ever had. He understands that we’re fighting a common enemy,” he said. “Iran wants to destroy you. We stand in their way. I’m very proud of the fact that Israel is the frontline of this battle of civilization against the barbarism that threatens all free societies.”

D’Souza shared this clip of Netanyahu on the same day that Carlson falsely alleged that Israel had urged the Bush administration to invade Iraq decades ago:
