Never-Trumper Ann Coulter now says she’s voting for Trump – but there’s always a twist

Conservative pundit Ann Coulter who has been a vicious critic of former President Donald J. Trump now says that she’s planning to vote for him despite his being an “awful, awful person,” at least in her mind.

Coulter, who last year labeled Trump as a “gigantic baby” and threw her support behind his rivals now says that she’s had a change of heart and will be voting Republican come November.

The 62-year-old author and commentator who struggles to stay relevant appeared on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” where she explained that it was Trump’s choice of Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) as his running mate that swayed her.

“Donald Trump, because if he loses he will be running again in four years, and then he will have lost four successive elections for us,” Coulter responded when asked who she plans to vote for.

“Truthfully, I really like his choice of J.D. Vance, which I recommended back in May,” she continued. “Can’t trust Trump as far as I can throw him, but I do trust J.D. Vance to care about the left behind people.”

It’s not like she has much choice other than Kamala Harris and X users lit up the hypocritical horse-faced “grifter” like a Christmas tree.

“So, I loved Trump coming out and saying, ‘Oh, I’m rich and going to fix the country,” she continued. “But the main reason, and if you read the book, by the way, I make it very clear that personally, Trump is an awful, awful person. We are making an exception this one time because we need a wall on the border.”

“I do think the 2016 Trump campaign, it was one of the greatest campaigns in world history – in part because it really changed the Republican Party to a party I preferred,” she said, hawking her 2016 book “In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!” which was written before she turned on the GOP nominee.
