New Melania Trump production company reportedly named after her Secret Service codename

First Lady Melania Trump has launched a production company under a name with very special meaning for her.

The launch, announced on X Friday morning, takes place two months before the worldwide launch of “MELANIA,” a documentary movie about the life of the first lady. She also revealed the name of her company: Muse Films. This is a reference to the Secret Service codename used for Melania Trump during President Donald Trump’s first term in the White House, “Muse.”

According to People, the “first and only known project from Muse Films at this time is her self-titled documentary, which Amazon MGM Studios will be releasing after reportedly paying $40 million for the project.” It is suspected that this deal came together as an attempt by the company’s founder, Jeff Bezos, to get on Trump’s good side.

“MELANIA offers unprecedented access to the 20 days leading up to the 2025 Presidential Inauguration — through the eyes of the First Lady-elect herself,” said Amazon MGM. “Step inside Melania Trump’s world as she orchestrates inauguration plans, navigates the complexities of the White House transition, and reenters public life with her family. With exclusive footage capturing critical meetings, private conversations, and never-before-seen environments, MELANIA showcases Mrs. Trump’s return to one of the world’s most powerful roles.”

“In addition to he documentary, the deal gives the studio distribution rights for a multi-episode series to follow the film,” People reported.
