New York AG, Letisha James orders hospital to resume genital and chemical castration of kids, or else…

Setting the stage for a new fight with the White House, New York’s top cop promised “further action” if a hospital system doesn’t resume chemical castration of minors.

Last month, in compliance with President Donald Trump’s executive order that cut off funding for institutions that continued medically maiming children in the name of alphabet activism, NYU Langone Health halted its Transgender Youth Health Program. Now, New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) has given the hospital system until March 11 to restart it, demonstrating “how desperate Democrats are to mutilate your kids.”

In a Feb. 25 letter signed by the NY AG office’s Health Care Bureau Chief Darsana Srinivasan, the argument was presented that the decision to end the program had violated anti-discrimination laws. “The sudden discontinuation of medically necessary transgender healthcare can have severe, negative health outcomes. Accordingly, the Attorney General is extremely concerned by your institution’s decision to cease the provision of care to this vulnerable, minority population.”

“NYU Langone appears to be suddenly and indefinitely cancelling transgender children’s future appointments, thereby jeopardizing access to medically necessary healthcare for some of the most vulnerable New Yorkers,” added the letter.

Stated another way, Libs of TikTok wrote on X, “NY AG Letitia James has issued a letter NYU Langone ORDERING them to resume the genital and chemical castration of CHILDREN after the hospital shut down its transgender youth program. This is how desperate Democrats are to mutilate your kids.”

Prior to the full stop on the program, NYU Langone stopped admitting new patients last year after President Donald Trump’s Jan. 28, 2025, executive order, “Protecting Children From Chemical and Surgical Mutilation.”

In a statement to the New York Post made in February, NYU Langone spokesman Steve Ritea expressed, “Given the recent departure of our medical director, coupled with the current regulatory environment, we made the difficult decision to discontinue our Transgender Youth Health Program.”

“We are committed to helping patients in our care manage this change. This does not impact our pediatric mental health care programs, which will continue,” he added.

As previously reported, the NYU Langone Health-trained Dr. Ira Savetsky said during an appearance on “Fox & Friends” that he was grateful to President Donald Trump for his actions as he faulted himself, “As a father to three young children and as a physician who took an oath to do now harm, I failed to speak up, and I just want to thank President Trump for having more clarity on this.”

The Associated Press cited psychiatrist and board member for the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, Dr. Scott Leibowitz, who said following Trump’s order, “This sets a very dangerous precedent for all areas of health care, if the government can cherry-pick one area of medicine to use to withhold necessary funding from entire groups of people.”

Meanwhile, reactions to James’ letter asserted the same, as many questioned what authority the attorney general had to order medical professionals to perform procedures on anyone and wondered if the taxpayers were going to have to foot the bill for future malpractice lawsuits.
