Newsom warns ICE agents about grabbing him with a mask on: ‘Someone is going to get hurt’

California Governor Gavin Newsom is being accused of encouraging violence against federal immigration enforcement agents with his recent comments.

Nobody has ever mistaken Newsom for being a particularly tough guy, but at a recent press conference, he claimed that “someone is going to get hurt” if anyone “with a mask on” tries to grab him. He was referring to mask-wearing ICE agents who have been conducting raids in the interest of removing illegal aliens from the United States, as per President Donald Trump’s agenda.

Watch:

“I worry about people’s lives. I’m telling you, we’re on the verge. This is serious. I mean if someone just randomly, if I’m walking down the street with my kids and someone grabs me with a mask on and tries to throw me in an unmarked van, and I’m looking at my kids? I’m surprised someone hasn’t gotten hurt. Someone is going to get hurt,” he said ominously. “So the best thing to happen to this administration, maybe they have to come to a realization.”
