Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley claimed that she received a unique gift from former President Donald J. Trump’s campaign after he added her to the collection of nicknames that he coins for his political adversaries.
Following her aggressive antics at the second GOP presidential primary debate which were praised as a breakout performance by her fans, the current frontrunner introduced “Birdbrain” to his list of humorous monikers for opponents that includes “Crooked Hillary” Clinton, “low energy” Jeb Bush, “Little Marco” Rubio and “Sloppy” Chris Christie among others.
On Sunday, the former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations took to X, formerly Twitter, to post a picture of the birdcage she said had been left outside of her hotel room by people working for Trump.

“MAGA, or I, will never go for Birdbrain Nikki Haley. No loyalty, plenty of lies! ‘I will never run against our great President,’ she said,’ he has done an outstanding job.’ To which I responded,’ How nice of you to say, Nikki,’ knowing full well that her words mean nothing. She even came to Mar-a-Lago with her family, ‘bearing gifts.’ Anyway, Birdbrain doesn’t have the TALENT or TEMPERAMENT to do the job. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote on Truth Social in rolling out his nickname for the former underling.
She reacted to Trump’s post with one of her own on X, writing “Love this. It means we are in 2nd and moving up fast. Bring it!” Along with emojis of a clenched fist and an American flag.

While Haley will likely get a lot of mileage over her birdcage, X users were unconvinced that it really came from the former president with some likening it to a race hoax that badly backfired involving a certain homosexual left-wing actor.
