Nikki Haley shoots herself in the foot AGAIN with brutal ‘change personalities’ gaffe

Nikki Haley, who many see as the establishment darling, may have a hard time surging toward the GOP nomination if she keeps shooting herself in the foot.

The former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations has reeled off several damaging gaffes that come as the media narrative is being shaped that an anticipated strong showing in the New Hampshire primary will be the launching pad that will carry her all the way to Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum where she will give her acceptance speech at the RNC convention this summer.

If only she could avoid the self-inflicted wounds, and the latest one is a doozy, again drawing unflattering comparisons to Hillary Clinton as her dissing of Iowa voters earlier this week did.

In what some may be inclined to call a Freudian slip and an admission of her own disingenuousness, the candidate admitted that she will be able to “change personalities” from state to state, a comment made during a Friday appearance on PBS Iowa.

“The structure of it is really amazing,” she said, referring to the primaries. “Iowa starts it. You change personalities, you go into New Hampshire.”

“They continue on, and by the time it gets to South Carolina,” the media favorite added, “it gets bigger going into Super Tuesday. There’s something very cool about the process,” Haley added.

The switchable personalities gaffe comes after Haley insulted Iowa conservatives, telling New Hampshire voters that they could “correct” the mistake made by those in the Hawkeye State where she doesn’t have the benefit of a friendly governor and cable TV regular in Chris Sununu to put a thumb on the scale for her.

Haley’s rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis pounded on his competitor’s unforced errors, telling reporters that the gaffes are evidence that Haley will melt under pressure when the now-adoring leftist media turns on her, as they inevitably will.

X users didn’t hold anything back with their reactions to the candidate who nobody except the donors – and Democrats- want.

Gaffes aside, Haley is going to have a difficult time running from her record, especially now that frontrunner Donald J. Trump is on the attack.

“Nikki Haley has been in the pocket of the open borders establishment donors her entire career and she’s a globalist. You know, she likes the globe. I like America First, the people in this room like America First, and Nikki Haley’s campaign is being funded by Biden donors,” the former president told voters at an Iowa event on Friday.

“Did you know that? Biden donors, because they’re trying to get her, like in particular– here we’re doing so well I think they’ve sort of given up. Did you notice, they’re sort of like out of here?” Trump continued. “But in New Hampshire, they have a lot of Biden donors and contributors putting money into her campaign. That tells you– that should be enough to stop her right there. Well, she’s stopped.”
