Democrats once again showed their true colors as they attacked Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard following her announced resignation.
Gabbard, a former congresswoman representing Hawaii, who left the Democratic Party in 2022, announced she will be leaving the Trump administration to focus on her husband as he battles a bone cancer diagnosis. No sooner had the news made headlines than the vile comments rolled in from Democrats happy to see Gabbard go.
“My thoughts go out to Tulsi Gabbard and her family, as her husband battles this serious health problem. I hope and pray that he makes a speedy and full recovery,” Sen. Adam Schiff wrote in a social media post, before declaring that Gabbard’s resignation was the “only positive contribution to our nation’s national security.”

“She politicized intelligence. She dismantled critical agencies keeping Americans safe. She weaponized the IC to pursue baseless election fraud claims. And more,” the California Democrat spewed. “We must ensure that her tenure — marked by a devotion to the person of the president and not to the security of the country — represents a terrible exception at DNI and not the new normal.”
Congressman Shri Thanedar also bashed the U.S. Army Reserve veteran and a Hawaii Army National Guard member in a post that drew deserved backlash.
“Tulsi Gabbard is resigning. Good riddance,” the Michigan Democrat wrote. “The Iran war has been the biggest display of intelligence incompetence in decades.”

While many Dems began their online messaging with “thoughts and prayers” for Gabbard with her husband’s illness, they nevertheless used the opportunity to bash the outgoing DNI.
Schiff’s post earned widespread condemnation, with Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) calling it “utterly classless” and White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson calling the post “Absolute ghoul behavior.”
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who is currently serving as President Donald Trump’s ambassador to Israel, ripped into the “serial liar.”
