The fallout from Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on President Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents may end up costing Attorney General Merrick Garland his job.
While the Garland-appointed prosecutor didn’t bring charges against Biden, another example of the dual system of justice that now exists in America, his description of the geriatric leader as being essentially senile infuriated the White House.
Biden and his aides are fuming about the description of the 81-year-old Democrat as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” a very sensitive subject in an election year that may be the final straw with Garland who is already on the outs with the regime.
Wow: this was the reason the Special Counsel gave for why it’d be hard to get a conviction against Biden for the classified docs case.
He’d seem to the jury an “elderly man with a poor memory” incapable of committing a crime “that requires a mental state of willfulness.” https://t.co/UxQupEBMiE pic.twitter.com/J5szoK6I7E

According to a bombshell report by Politico that also sheds light on Biden’s involvement in the lawfare operation against GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump, Garland isn’t likely to be back as the head of the Justice Department if Biden is reelected in November.
Citing the now customary anonymous sources in “two people close to the president,” the outlet reports that Biden “has told aides and outside advisers that Attorney General Merrick Garland did not do enough to rein in a special counsel report stating that the president had diminished mental faculties.”
“Biden and his closest advisers believe Hur went well beyond his purview and was gratuitous and misleading in his descriptions, according to those two people, who were granted anonymity to speak freely,” Politico reported. “And they put part of the blame on Garland, who they say should have demanded edits to Hur’s report, including around the descriptions of Biden’s faltering memory.”
“This has been building for a while,” said one of the unnamed individuals. “No one is happy,” with the anonymous sources expressing the opinion that “most of the president’s senior advisers do not believe that the attorney general would remain in his post for a possible second term.”
The president is also reportedly peeved at his hand-picked DOJ boss over the special counsel probe into Hunter Biden, concerned that the pressure could send his son ‘spiraling back into addiction,” The exploits of the once crack-huffing sexual degenerate have been extensively documented and Biden is said to believe that Garland was “caving to outside pressure.”
In the most provocative element of the Politico story, Biden is reportedly angry with the nation’s top law enforcement official for not acting sooner in the DOJ’s persecution of Trump, his almost certain opponent in the election barring unforeseen circumstances.
“In recent weeks, President Biden has grumbled to aides and advisers that had Garland moved sooner in his investigation into former President Donald Trump’s election interference, a trial may already be underway or even have concluded, according to two people granted anonymity to discuss private matters,” the outlet reported. “That trial still could take place before the election and much of the delay is owed not to Garland but to deliberate resistance put up by the former president and his team.”
The report suggests that it’s not enough that Garland has weaponized the Justice Department and FBI in ways that would have once been unthinkable, dialing up the storming of Mar-a-Lago, the unprecedented charging of Trump, a former president and opposition party leader, and the weaponizing of the federal law enforcement apparatus against conservatives, he is also forbidden from allowing any honest criticism of Biden and must now be punished.
“Garland is far and away Biden’s worst appointee by an order of magnitude,” said American Prospect co-founder Robert Kuttner.“And we all pay the price. If Biden goes down the drain because Garland has mishandled the investigation of Trump and gave Republicans a weapon … then the country pays the price. It’s not just that Biden gets punished for the stupidity of appointing Garland.”
