Despite all of President Joe Biden’s race-baiting and pandering, there are ominous signs for his party that it could lose black voters in large enough numbers to swing the election to GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump.
With polls showing the Democrats’ spell over their most devoutly loyal demographic beginning to wear off, the words of a black mother who suffered an unthinkable tragedy when her Army veteran son was murdered in New York City in 2018 should be a sign to party bosses that a revolt could be in the offing.
During a Fox News discussion on the deteriorating state of Joe Biden’s America, New York state Democrat lawmaker Madeline Brame tore into her party and said that many blacks are fed up with a party that has made their lives miserable as a result of open borders policies and the coddling of criminals.
“People are walking away from the plantation of the Democratic Party once and for all,” she told host Lawrence Jones who was quizzing the panel of voters.

“The economy plays a huge part, now the illegal immigration piece is playing another major part,” she said. “Here in New York City, now we have cuts coming down you know, the pike, that are going to affect the brown and black community just like the illegals that are being pushed into these communities, sucking up the resources from the longtime residents that live there.”
“All right, taxpayers, poor taxpayers, are now going to have to foot the bill for these people. And we can’t even afford to pay our own rent,” Brame continued, referring to the deep cuts in essential services just announced by New York City Mayor Adams as a result of the illegal aliens who have descended on Gotham.
“There’s a problem with that. There’s a huge problem with it. And, you know, minorities may be silent as far as being vocal,” she predicted. “But I believe that you know, in 24, this new election, the next cycle, we’re going to see a overwhelmingly amount of people that we have not seen in 30 years come out to vote. All right?”
“People are being educated on the voter registration piece, how to change their party affiliation, question number 14 on their voter registration form,” she concluded. “And people are walking away from the plantation of the Democratic Party once and for all.”
Talk radio host Charlamagne tha God of the New York City-based nationally syndicated show, “The Breakfast Club” was recently grilled by CNN’s Chris Wallace about the unprecedented exodus of black voters from the Democrat plantation and had a slightly different take.

“If you have a community who feels like they’ve never been spoken to, you know, by the government, ever. Like American government has, you know, ignored them, not paying them any attention. And let’s just say all of a sudden you start getting checks in the mail one day,” he said. “The stimulus checks — what they call stimis in the hood — for $1,200. And this man’s name is on them — Donald Trump. For the first time in probably forever, you just simply feel seen, and you can talk to your next-door neighbor about actually receiving something from the American government.”
The Democratic Party for too long has bet the house on the brand loyalty of black voters who, despite the promises of politicians, have only seen Democrat policies bring woe to their communities. But it looks as if the times have now changed.
