The New York Times had the rug yanked out from under it after attempting to portray the terrorist who attacked a Michigan synagogue this week as a man trying to avenge an innocent family.
Hardly a day goes by without the media proving why it is among the most despised and distrusted institutions in all of America, but the once-venerable “newspaper of record” outdid itself with its reporting on Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a 41-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen from Lebanon who rammed his truck into a Detroit-area Jewish house of worship while preschool was in session.
Instead of being honest with its readers that Ghazali is a terrorist, the Times pushed the narrative that he had lost four relatives in an Israeli airstrike last week, seeming to suggest that it was an excuse for the attack in which he himself was sent to Allah by a self-inflicted gunshot to the head during a firefight with police.
The man who rammed his truck into a Michigan synagogue on Thursday had four family members who were killed in an airstrike in Lebanon the week before, a Lebanese official and a Michigan imam said. https://t.co/0QLTUldgHc

“Mr. Ghazali lost four relatives in an airstrike in Lebanon last week, according to a Lebanese official, who said he knew the family. A Dearborn Heights mosque held a memorial for Mr. Ghazali’s slain family members on Sunday, according to its imam, Hassan Qazwini of the Islamic Institute of America,” the paper reported.
But the Times left out one minor detail – two members of the “innocent” family taken out in the airstrike were members of Hezbollah, the Iran-backed terrorist group devoted to the destruction of the Jewish state.

“A source in Michigan’s Lebanese American community told CBS News that an Israeli airstrike roughly 10 days prior on a village in Lebanon killed his two brothers and several other family members, leaving him devastated,” according to CBS News.
“CBS News has learned from a journalist on the ground in Lebanon that the two brothers were both members of a Hezbollah rocket unit in southern Lebanon,” the outlet reported.
NBC News also provided the context that The New York Times couldn’t – or wouldn’t: “The two brothers were known to be members of Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militant group, the official said. But it was unclear what role they played in the organization or whether they were the target of the strike.”
The omission is yet another self-inflicted black eye for the Times and X users unloaded on the left-wing propaganda organ with both barrels.

Apparels the NYTimes believes if you or a family member was a victim of Islamic Terrorism you can attack your local Mosque as revenge and they’d view it as justified.
My guess is they’re not consistent with this view though.

If only the NYT had journalists to investigate these things. 🤔

The @nytimes knows its audience, which will now believe it was just some poor bereft Muslim lashing out.

Don’t introduce facts. It ruins the narrative.

In other Times-related news, President Donald J. Trump once again lashed out at star reporter “Maggot” Haberman, whom he is now threatening to sue.
“Maggot Hagerman, just another SLEAZEBAG writer for The Failing New York Times, insists on writing false stories about me, even though she fully knows and understands that the exact opposite of anything she says is usually the truth. In any event, I’m thinking of adding Maggot, and some of her ‘associates,’ into my Florida based Lawsuit against The Times which, very happily, seems to be proceeding nicely,” Trump wrote in a Friday post to Truth Social.
