A New York City construction worker’s blunt message to President Joe Biden is a bad omen for the Democrat’s reelection hopes.
“Lunchbucket Joe” has long presented himself as the champion of the working class and owes much of his political success to rock-solid support from unions, but the political tides have shifted.
Former President Donald J. Trump paid a surprise visit to a construction site in Manhattan on Thursday, taking a break from the Stormy Daniels “hush money” legal circus to visit with hard-working blue-collar Americans who enthusiastically welcomed him, and one member of the media asked about Trump’s “surprising” support in the Big Apple.
“F**k you,” was the short but sweet message that the worker had for the Newsmax reporter with the clip of the exchange going viral on social media.

“What’s it like seeing so many Republicans in Manhattan, so many Trump supporters in Manhattan. Does that surprise you?” the reporter asked the worker who was wearing a hard hat and toting what appeared to be a pizza box.
“No, not at all. It’s turning now. It’s Trump’s turn again,” the worker responded.
“What’s your message to Joe Biden?” the reporter followed up, receiving the two-word response that accurately sums up how tens of millions of Americans feel about the geriatric career politician and his ruinous economic policies.
The man’s message drew a big response on X, a sign that it’s resonating with Americans who want to give Joe the middle finger and send him off into a long overdue retirement.
Not an uncommon sentiment

If I was that guy’s boss, he would be getting a raise.

I think the Trump campaign just found their union liaison.

In further evidence that Biden is perilously close to using the blue-collar vote, one prominent New York Union leader said that members are increasingly jumping off the Democrat ship and plan to vote for Trump.
NEW: New York union leader Bobby Bartels says most of his Union workers are Democrats but they are supporting Trump in 2024.
Bartels said he conducted a poll of his 9,000 members and Trump is leading Biden 3 to 1.

“In the past, we are basically Democrats, all of us,” said Steamfitters Local 638 manager Bob Bartels. “And after what’s happened in the last four years in this country, the Democrats are basically pushing everybody to the other side. We’re a very patriotic group, and we love our country, and we want the best for America.”
“We’re tired of immigration, we’re tired of our tax dollars going to immigration, we’re tired of the crime. We need to put a handle on things in this country and bring it back to how it should be,” Bartels added.
The failed policies of Biden and New York Democrats who have brought ruin to Gotham could present a golden opportunity for Trump who is making a play for his home state.
“We’re very close in New York, I understand… We’re going to make a play for New York …. We’re going to run very hard in New York. We have a good chance of winning New York, in my opinion. We’re going to give it a shot.”

“Normally, a Democrat would win New York. Biden is the worst president in history and we have some very bad people here, but we have the greatest people and they’re right behind me,” Trump said. “We’re gonna run very hard in New York. We have a good chance of winning New York, in my opinion, but we’re gonna give it a shot.”
