Obama claims WHCA shooter’s motives not known after his crazed anti-Trump manifesto screams otherwise

Former President Barack Obama claimed that the motives of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooter were unknown, even though Cole Allen clearly expressed what drove him in a raving anti-Trump manifesto.

The armed 31-year-old California man charged through security at the Washington Hilton on Saturday, opening fire as he headed for the ballroom where President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and a large portion of the chain of succession were set to enjoy the black-tie event.

Fortunately, Allen was stopped, and Trump and other top officials were safely evacuated before he could act out on his plan to target the president and members of his administration. One member of the Secret Service was hit by gunfire before the alleged shooter was subdued and taken into custody.

“Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy,” Obama wrote on Sunday, despite details of Allen’s crazed screed already being widely reported by the media.

“It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay,” the Democratic Party rock star added.

“I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,” Allen allegedly wrote in the manifesto, also saying that “Administrative officials, they are targets.”

Mr. Obama’s post comes as his party moves into gaslighting mode to absolve themselves of any responsibility, even though they have spent years pushing the buttons of unstable elements of the Democrat base with their depiction of Trump as the second coming of Hitler and, more recently, accusing him of being a pedophile.

The truth-challenged ex-president was fact-checked by X users over his blatantly false statement.

“There is no ambiguity. It was a politically motivated attack driven by anti-Trump and anti-Christian bile. It’s wrong to downplay or obscure the obvious motive,” former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spox Tricia McLaughlin wrote.

“It was politically motivated,” Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) pointed out. “He made that pretty clear.”

“Let’s not pretend to be this clueless about motive, @BarackObama. The attempted assassin put out an anti-Trump manifesto about wanting to kill Trump Admin officials, minutes before trying to storm a ballroom filled with the President, VP, Cabinet, and many others from his Admin,” wrote EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin.

No president in history has done more to divide the country than Barack Hussein Obama, and he shares responsibility for the human time bombs that Democrats and the media have programmed to detonate. Cole Allen is just one of many more set to go off at any time.
