Joe Exotic, who rose to fame due to the Netflix series Tiger King, revealed that his husband, Jorge Flores Maldonado, was taken by immigration authorities after being released from prison.
Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, posted the news on Instagram alongside a photo of the two. He pleaded with President Donald Trump and Stephen Miller, as the Trump administration continues its relentless crackdown on illegal immigration and those who are taking advantage of American taxpayers.

On Sunday, TMZ confirmed that Maldonado was deported back to Mexico shortly after his hearing. He was behind bars for his immigration problems, where he would meet Exotic, and the two would marry in April.
In a post on X, the ‘Tiger King’ star once again called on Trump to pardon him so he can go to Mexico to be with his husband.
