OMG! Provocative new ‘If I was the deep state’ meme video goes viral

A provocative new video that is going viral that theorizes about how nefarious shadow government elements would go about pulling off a successful takedown of America was described as the “most alarming political ad I’ve seen this year” by pollster Frank Luntz and is drawing plenty of attention on social media.

In the nearly 2-minute video titled “If I Was the Deep State” which appears to have been created by a conservative pro-Trump podcaster, the argument is put forth that sinister forces would “rig the election with a puppet candidate” and “create a false flag” that would allow for mass mail-in voting, and it then proceeds to lay out a scenario that is eerily close to the reality of the past few years.

“If I was the deep state and I wanted to destroy America, I would rig the election with a puppet candidate, one that was so compromised that they would never say a word about it. I would create a false flag that allows for mail-in ballots. I would be in charge of the ballot-counting machines,” the video begins as clips of President Joe Biden and suspicious activity during the tallying of the 2020 election results are shown.

Showing footage of the so-called “insurrection” the video then says, “I would create a false flag to blame all who question the results of the election.  If I was the deep state, I would prosecute anyone that went against me. I would sue and prosecute anyone that spoke up about the fraudulent election. I would use my powers to shut down all your internet businesses and bankrupt you.”

“If I was the deep state, I would make everyone an example why you should never question a Democrat ever winning an election. I would imprison my foes. I would use my corrupt DA’s and blackmailed judges to destroy you. I would make sure all crimes I ever committed never happened. I would prosecute my biggest competition. I would make sure they could never run for office ever again,” the video continued, referring to Trump and his ongoing legal problems before going on to add media gaslighting over Ukraine and the imposition of the transgender agenda before endorsing Trump in 2024.

In sharing the video, Luntz solicited input from his followers, inviting comments on the “most alarming political ad I’ve seen this year” although not noting that it isn’t an official Trump campaign spot but rather a meme that was created by the “Dilley Meme Team” and “Trump’s Online War Machine.”

Twitter users responded to the veteran political opinion guru.

The video seems to be based on iconic talk radio host Paul Harvey’s classic 1965 “If I Were The Devil” which has become more prophetic with each passing year.

“If I were the Prince of Darkness, I’d want to engulf the whole world in darkness. And I’d have a third of its real estate, and four-fifths of its population, but I wouldn’t be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree — Thee. So I’d set about however necessary to take over the United States,” Harvey warned.

“If I was the deep state, you would wish I was really the devil,” the new video concludes. “If I was the deep state, I would say mission accomplished.”
