Outlet reports on Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt’s years long not-so-secret romance

A not-so-secret romance was reportedly confirmed between Fox News personalities as photos featuring host Sean Hannity and his “best friend” on a blended family outing in “domestic bliss” were released.

Years of speculation were cast aside Tuesday when the Daily Mail released exclusive photos of 61-year-old Hannity happily traveling with 49-year-old “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt and her seven-year-old daughter Hayden. The couple was spotted in February on a trip to Palm Beach, Florida where they visited The Colony Palm Beach Hotel, near former President Donald Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago.

“They started out as ‘best friends’ — two of the highest profile host on Fox News — but now, DailyMail.com can reveal that friendship has bloomed into a committed relationship so strong they’ve blended their lives and their families,” the outlet reported Tuesday.

According to a source who spoke with the Mail, “They are extremely happy together and have been for a while. It’s not a surprise to anyone who knows them, but they’re very private people and prefer to keep their personal life private and lowkey.”

Hannity and Earhardt are known for their unwavering support of Trump and are among Fox's most high-profile television personalities

“They started out as best friends and the relationship evolved over time,” the source continued. “He’s a generous and kind guy and she is just an incredibly wonderful person — they’re a really sweet couple with so much love for each other.”

“Ainsley and Sean are genuine, lovely people who are both truly beloved at Fox News, so everyone at the network has been happy for them for a while,” the insider noted. “Sean was there for Ainsley through her mother’s illness last fall (she died in October 2022) and was by her side picking up all the pieces — she leaned on him during some extraordinarily difficult times.”

Despite years of rumors and speculation, the two have remained notoriously tightlipped, refusing to comment on the nature of their relationship

The Mail shared exclusive photos of the couple locked arm-in-arm at a South Carolina Waffle House in January as well as attending an Oyster Fest last fall on Long Island.

As for Earhardt’s daughter whom she had with her ex-husband, former Clemson Tigers quarterback Will Proctor during their marriage from 2012 to 2018, the source said, “Sean adores Ainsley’s daughter Hayden.”

Himself a father of two grown children with ex-wife journalist Jill Rhodes, Hannity was said to be an “‘adoring’ step-father-like figure to the young girl and was even rumored to be renovating his Florida townhouse to add a fourth bedroom to accommodate her. His previous marriage had come to a close in 2019 after separating from his wife in 2015.

It was believed that the Fox News hosts’ romance had officially begun shortly thereafter and there were even rumors that during COVID when Earhardt was co-hosting “Fox & Friends” remotely, she may have been filming from on location at Hannity’s Long Island mansion.

At the time, she released a statement that read, “Right now I am focused on raising my daughter and I am not dating anyone.”

“As anyone at Fox News will tell you, Sean is a wonderful person and whomever he chooses to date will be extremely fortunate,” she added.

Through a spokesperson, Hannity had said, “I do not discuss my personal life in public.”

Insiders say the relationship is 'not a surprise to anyone who knows them', including their colleagues at Fox News
