Penn Dems boot GOP Rep from House floor for patriotic suit despite encouraging ‘Pride’ attire

A Pennsylvania state representative is calling out Democrats after he was kicked off the House floor for wearing patriotic clothes.

Rep. Eric Davanzo showed up to work wearing red, white, and blue in honor of America’s 250th birthday, but the sight triggered Democrats who ruled his jacket “inappropriate.”

Dem Speaker of the House Joanna McClinton called Davanzo’s outfit a “costume”, but insisted she and her comrades are “all very patriotic.”

Davanzo told Fox News Channel’s Laura Ingraham that his outfit complied with the rules of attire, but said Democrats have worn “top hats” and “sneakers” on the House floor in violation of the rules, with no consequences. Even better, Davanzo added that Democrat House members were encouraged “the night before” to wear “rainbow colors” for a Pride month photo the next morning.

“There it is!” Ingraham said, presumably expecting inevitable leftist hypocrisy.

“They hate America,” Davanzo said. “They’re just about the optics.”

The clip received a lot of responses as America heads into the holiday weekend:

Davanzo isn’t the only one saying that “Democrats hate America.” CNN commentator Scott Jennings recently made waves by declaring the same sentiment.
