While Democrats continue to advocate for limiting the ability of Americans to defend themselves, even questioning how many rounds a person needs in a weapon, a woman in Philadelphia offered the latest example of life being a little more complicated than the vanilla scenarios often presented by the gun grabbers.
Returning home to her Germantown residence around 1 a.m., the woman found four would-be burglars inside her apartment, according to Fox 29 Philadelphia.
“The complainant had arrived at her apartment and found four unknown males inside her apartment without her permission,” the Philadelphia Police Department said in a statement.

A confrontation ensued and the woman, who was armed, gained the upper hand when she opened fire striking two of the four suspects, the Fox affiliate reported.
Police found one of the suspects on the ground when they arrived, suffering from two gunshot wounds. A second man who had been shot in the back was located a short time later. Both men were transported to a local hospital.
The first suspect was identified by police as 48-year-old Jermaine Parker and the second offender was identified as 45-year-old Randy Miller, Fox 29 reported. They were arrested and charged with burglary and other related offenses.
The other two suspects remain at large.
While certainly a harrowing experience for anyone, the woman was roundly cheered online for taking matters into her own hands… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story as seen on Twitter:
I just ❤️ the outcome of a really bad scary situation.

Can someone close to the people in this story start a GoFundMe? I’m really concerned about the injustice that might happen here. What if the bullets damaged her wall or broke a lamp or something and now she has to eat that cost?
