‘People could learn from him’: Watch Ramaswamy turn critic completely around in under 5 minutes

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s tell-it-like-it-is style is winning over critics.

In a video he posted to social media, the 38-year-old entrepreneur showed the moment he was confronted by a proponent of the so-called climate crisis and what he said to score a handshake from another over nuclear power.

“The climate change agenda is a hoax because it has nothing to do with the climate and everything with global ‘equity’ – by letting China catch up to the U.S.,” Ramaswamy wrote in the post on X.

“The same people who rail against carbon emissions in the U.S. don’t say a peep about shifting those same emissions to China, while also opposing nuclear energy here at home,” he added. “It’s a farce & I won’t hedge in saying so.”

“You’re the best debater, but I gotta tell you if you want young voters, you need to take climate change more seriously,” one man told the 2024 GOP candidate. “Stop calling it a hoax.”

“I said climate change agenda is a hoax,” Ramaswamy corrected. “And the reality is, adaptation is the answer. No one’s talking about it.”

Another man in the crowd then pressed the idea of nuclear reactors, which the GOP candidate agreed with, earning a handshake as he said, “Nuclear’s great!”

“I’m the most pro-nuclear candidate in the last 30 years in American history,” he said as he went on to elaborate his stand on the issue.

“So the same people who are against carbon emissions are also against nuclear energy,” he said, one hand on the shoulder of the first man who brought up the climate topic.

“I think by the end of my first term, we’ll have three Gen-4 reactors in motion,” he said, earning two thumbs-ups from the other man in the crowd, who added, “Wonderful!”

At this point, the climate critic revealed that he used to work at a nuclear plant, prompting Ramaswamy to shake his hand as well. He left both men smiling and agreeing about the energy future of America.
