While the pearl-clutching liberal media is OK with calls for former President Donald Trump to die in prison, the reaction to Fox News host Harris Faulkner reminding viewers that “people die in prison” was not as blasé.
Faulkner was commenting on reports that the Biden Justice Department was seeking to put Hunter Biden’s former friend and business associate Devon Archer in prison ahead of his scheduled closed-door testimony Monday before the House Oversight Committee — the DOJ scrambled to say that it would not interfere with that testimony in its efforts to have Archer begin his sentence for an earlier fraud case.

She noted that Archer “skipped out” on three previous subpoenas and that he was not testifying under oath, asking a few questions while speculating that his scheduled testimony may have some impact on Archer serving his sentence.
“What deal did lawmakers have to get him to come in this fourth time, to keep that promise? And also: What deal did they have to make to keep him out of prison on Saturday?” Faulkner asked.
“I’m really curious, cause you know, and I want to be delicate here: People die in prison,” she added. “I mean, you put somebody in there who can take down really, really powerful people — stuff can happen.”
Just ask Jeffrey Epstein.
Left-leaning Mediate reported on the segment, running this headline: “Fox News Anchor Floats Sinister Theory About Key Hunter Biden Witness.”
As noted on the show, Archer’s attorney denied the initial reporting and issued a statement professing to be “aware of speculation that the Department of Justice’s weekend request to have Mr. Archer report to prison is an attempt by the Biden administration to intimidate him in advance of his meeting with the House Oversight Committee.”
‘To be clear, Mr. Archer does not agree with that speculation,” attorney Matthew Schwartz added, according to Politico.
