PGA Tour is returning to Trump-owned golf course. Let the TDS begin!

A normal announcement about the PGA Tour unleashed a wave of TDS-filled backlash on social media, proving again that the left employs no rational thoughts when it comes to President Donald Trump.

The professional golf tour’s Cadillac Championship will be held at Trump National Doral in Miami, Fla., the first time since 2016 at the golf course owned by the president’s business organization since 2012.

A list of the players was posted by the PGA Tour Communications X account and sparked a meltdown from Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers on social media.

“Following a 10-year hiatus, the PGA TOUR returns to Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster in Miami, Florida, for the inaugural Cadillac Championship,” the caption read. “Marks the fifth of eight Signature Events during the 2026 PGA TOUR Season.”

“The WGC-Cadillac Championship was hosted at Doral from 2007 to 2016, but the event was moved to Mexico City in 2017, President Trump’s first year in the Oval Office. The Trump Organization purchased the property for $150 million in 2012,” Fox News noted.

The announcement about the fifth PGA Tour signature event of the year included Trump’s name and “led to folks who would otherwise never see the post share some unhinged replies,” according to Fox News.

“It’s worth emphasizing that these are reactions to a list of names participating in a sporting event on a piece of land that happens to be owned by the president’s organization,” the outlet added.

Despite the meltdowns from the left, many X users celebrated the announcement and mocked the TDS-sufferers.
