Pirro reportedly abandons case against the ‘Seditious Six’

U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro’s office is reportedly scrapping its case against six Democratic lawmakers who urged military members to disobey President Donald J. Trump, their commander in chief.

The “Seditious Six” posted an explosive video to social media last November in which they encouraged servicemen and servicewomen to reject “illegal orders” from Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, infuriating the president, who denounced them as “traitors to our country” and called for them to be arrested and put on trial.

But an attempt to prosecute the Democrats failed when a grand jury refused to hand up indictments earlier this month, a blow to the Trump administration’s efforts to hold them accountable for their brazen sowing of disunity in the ranks of the armed services.

Now the feisty Pirro may be cutting and running, according to NBC News, which reported that her office “has decided to stop pursuing the case against six Democratic lawmakers.”

The outlet, which cites the now standard anonymous sources in “three people familiar with the matter,” suggests that Pirro’s office won’t attempt to refile the case in a district other than Washington, D.C., which is a Deep State-Democratic Party stronghold filled with people who despise Trump.

“While a potential case against the six lawmakers is now considered dead in Washington, that decision wouldn’t necessarily bar a federal prosecutor from trying to bring a case in a different federal court district, though there have been no public indications that will happen,” according to NBC News.

The “Seditious Six” were led by Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), a former astronaut and dark horse 2028 presidential contender, and Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), who worked as a CIA analyst before getting into politics.

Reps. Jason Crow (D-CO), Chris Deluzio (D-PA), Maggie Goodlander (D-NH), and Chrissy Houlahan (D-NH) rounded out the bunch who will now serve as inspirations to others looking to undermine the chain of command now that it is clear that there will be no accountability.

“Right now, the threats to our constitution aren’t just coming from abroad, but from right here at home. Our laws are clear: You can refuse illegal orders. You can refuse illegal orders. You must refuse illegal orders,” the Democrat lawmakers said.

“The traitors that told the military to disobey my orders should be in jail right now, not roaming the fake news networks trying to explain that what they said was ok. It wasn’t, and never will be!” Trump raged on Truth Social after the video was posted.

“It was sedition at the highest level, and sedition is a major crime,” he added. “There can be no other interpretation of what they said.”

“Whether or not Pirro succeeded is not the point,” Slotkin said after the grand jury decision. “It’s that President Trump continues to weaponize our justice system against his perceived enemies.”

“She is in a class by herself,” Trump said when he nominated the former Fox News host. “Congratulations, Jeanine!”
