‘Polk Around & Find Out’: Sheriff Grady releases details of successful child predator sting

Polk County, Florida continues to be an unfriendly place for criminals under Sheriff Grady Judd, as seen with a recent seven-day undercover sting called “Polk Around and Find Out II.”

Overall, 281 people were arrested for prostitution and child predation offenses. Sadly, 17 of those arrested worked at theme parks like Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, with seven tied to child cases. An Orange County deputy, a youth coach, and a Navy sailor were among those arrested.

Sheriff Judd shares the story of one former Disney employee during a press conference.

“He was a former Disney Mickey Mouse character. He had the high squeaky voice too… and he may be the sickest, nastiest person we have ever arrested,” the sheriff explained. “He was into diapers — diapers. And he had two backpacks full of diapers. He wanted to wear diapers. He wanted to put diapers on the children and he wanted to do all kinds of nasty stuff — none of which we can talk about.”

A Disney employee who worked at the Toy Story Slinky Dog coaster-style attraction was arrested. Judd said the suspect was “inclusive of everybody” when it was made clear the boy he was pursuing was 14.

“He was so excited he didn’t even bother to take his work uniform off before he showed up,” Judd said. “So he is also locked up.”

Polk County, which is just south of the Walt Disney World Resort, has a long history of such stings, as Judd prioritizes the safety of children from sexual predators.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
