The super PAC called “Never Back Down” released a new hard-hitting ad for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Republican 2024 presidential bid on Monday called “War on Woke,” highlighting his fight against the leftists’ progressive agenda, especially when it comes to our children and women in sports.
It’s the sixth ad for the pro-DeSantis PAC and definitely hit its mark. The thirty-second clip spotlights DeSantis fighting against “woke” ideology as “an attack on truth” and a form of “cultural Marxism.” It reportedly cost seven figures and will air in Iowa and South Carolina.
The ad lauds the firebrand conservative governor for “protecting children from mutilation and indoctrination” and “standing up to woke corporations.”
A big win for the ad is former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines, who appears in it. She gained national fame for speaking out against trans women competing against biological women in sports. Gaines makes a cameo in the ad.

“He’s drawn a line and he’s said, ‘Enough is enough,’” Gaines remarks in the video, referring to DeSantis taking the lead in banning men from competing in women’s sports.
DeSantis has declared all-out war against the left, proclaiming that Florida is where “woke goes to die” and has said as president he would continue to fight against progressive indoctrination.
The Florida governor comes across as a strong fighter for freedom, national security, and parental rights. This latest ad simply further drives that point home.
“Gov. Ron DeSantis is waging a war on ‘woke’ and winning,” the narration begins in the video and then pivots to DeSantis’ remarks.
“‘Woke’ is an existential threat to our society. I mean, it’s an attack on truth. It’s a form of cultural Marxism,” he asserts.
Great to be in North Augusta in the GREAT state of South Carolina.
Voters here are fired up to send Joe Biden back to his basement and to restore sanity in America.

The ad points out that DeSantis is busy “protecting children from mutilation and indoctrination.” It also shows him fearlessly signing a “Florida ban on transgender treatment for minors.”
He is praised for slamming the “woke” Walt Disney Co. and for “standing up to ‘woke’ corporations.”
“DeSantis is fearless, fighting for our kids, fighting for our values, and winning. That’s the conservative road map for America,” the ad further claims.
The Republican contender highlighted San Francisco and Los Angeles as breeding grounds for the “woke mind virus” in a recent speech, a message he is taking across the nation.
“When ‘woke’ overtakes our criminal justice system — like it has in San Francisco, like it has in Los Angeles — the average person becomes less safe in their communities as a result,” DeSantis stated at the Faith and Freedom Conference last week, according to HuffPost.
Thank you @FaithandFreedom for having me.
The left is waging a war on sanity, common sense and our basic values. We need a leader with the courage to fight back.
We are ready to fight. We will answer the challenge. We won’t get a mulligan in 2024 — we need to win. No excuses! pic.twitter.com/qigngRR8Ix

What I witnessed in San Francisco was shocking and saddening, yet unsurprising.
The failures of states like California are the direct result of a failed progressive, and woke, agenda.
I’m running for president because decline is a choice, success is attainable, and freedom is… pic.twitter.com/jUgpar0Fpi

“Don’t tell me it doesn’t affect people’s lives. I was just in San Francisco. I saw — in 20 minutes on the ground — people defecating on the sidewalk. I saw people using fentanyl. I saw people smoking crack right there in the open, right there on the street. It was a civilization in decay,” DeSantis railed.
Former President Trump is still leading DeSantis by more than 20 points in both Iowa and South Carolina, according to Florida Politics. The former president’s recent indictment has only made him more popular. It is going to be a tough race between the two Republican powerhouses.
The five previous ads for the PAC include “Once Upon a Time,” “Punching Back,” “Anthem,” “Steel,” and “Winner.”
