A case study in leftist absurdity has been unfolding for days in East Austin, Texas.
The saga trending on X began when a video emerged of a white couple upset about cars parked in front of their “1.5 million-dollar” house and left notes on them.
The couple was reportedly new to the neighborhood near the “historically-black” Huston-Tillotson University. A student confronted the couple and tried to explain that it’s legal to park on the street and politely asked her to stop “touching cars.” The white “Karen” responded by spewing the cost of her home and belittled the college graduation rate, which she claimed was 25 percent.
“You’re in a historically black neighborhood,” the student said.
“This is our neighborhood!” Karen shot back.
Oooo, boy.
The inevitable protest emerged in front of Karen’s house, where the couple’s “Talarico” sign was subsequently removed and replaced by several “private property signs.”
As we know, leftists LOVE their signs.
Meanwhile, the city confirmed parking is allowed on that street and added extra patrols to the area due to the conflict.
There’s currently chaos in East Austin, TX because a woman with a James Talarico yard sign called police on HBCU students parking on her street, and took a shot at the school’s “25% graduation rate.”
Nonstop protests at her house. Incredible. https://t.co/cDthHrnDiJ

The situation gained traction on X, where former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt weighed in with more footage, saying, “LOL of course the Karen harassing all of her black neighbors has a Talarico sign.”

They paid $1.5M for this.

Right? Did they not see the busy university right by the house? Did they not notice the street with the cars? How was this a surprise? Were they completely ignorant or did they think the rules would not apply to them?
Oh, wait. Never mind.
The husband standing behind her because he has to but secretly knows his wife is a Karen and making a scene that the entire neighborhood will hate them for.
What a tough life for a beta male🫠

Filmmaker Robby Starbuck weighed in with another predominant take circulating on X.
“I have no sympathy for this talarico supporting couple but imagine the absolute pandemonium there would be if white people surrounded a black woman’s house while shouting that she was in a white neighborhood. There would be 3,000 think pieces in the media and a civil rights investigation,” Starbuck wrote.
True.
Leftism is a no-win situation spiral. End it at the polls.
