The husband of embattled Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) snapped at a Fox News Digital reporter when asked whether rumors that his spouse has fled the county are true.
In the testy exchange, political consultant Tim Mynett was approached by the reporter while out walking the couple’s pet Golden Labrador Retriever Teddy on Wednesday night, two days after federal agents raided the “Squad” member’s Washington, D.C. home.
“There are rumors that the congresswoman left the country; is that true?” Mynett was asked. The ethically challenged congresswoman has not been seen in public since agents for Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) showed up early Monday morning.

“You guys are annoying the hell out of all the neighbors around here, man,” Omar’s better half snapped.
“I just wanted to get your response to everything that’s been going on, that’s all,” the reporter persisted as Mynett continued walking. “And what the president’s saying about the net worth, and the investigation, just giving you a chance to respond.”
The Fox News Digital reporter also again asked whether he had a response to President Donald J. Trump’s posts about his wife.
While the Somalia-born lawmaker has been laying low since the raid, a staffer was spotted toting two large bags from Burger King entering the couple’s home.
The rumor mill has been churning with speculation that Omar has bolted the U.S. amid questions about whether she fraudulently obtained her U.S. citizenship and probes by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s office into the ethically challenged congresswoman’s financial disclosures.
“Why did Ilhan Omar report a Net Worth of up to 30 Million Dollars just a short time ago, and then immediately say, ‘Oh, I made a mistake! It’s really $100,000.’… America wants answers, and we want them, NOW!” Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social, suggesting that the “Squad” member’s wealth could have come from “fraudulent activities” in Minnesota.

Some have expressed suspicion that the congresswoman was involved in the rampant “industrial scale” fraud carried out by members of the Somali community in her Minneapolis district.
Omar could potentially be booted out of the country if stripped of her citizenship, with The Wall Street Journal reporting that sending the America-hating loudmouth back to Somalia is the objective.

Government officials are reportedly looking into whether the congresswoman or her father misrepresented Omar’s age on the citizenship application to show that she was 17 years old instead of 18. If Omar was 17 at the time, she would have been granted automatic citizenship with her father. But if Omar was actually 18, she would have needed to become naturalized separately.
“My wife came here when she was 12 years old as a child war refugee,” Mynett told Fox News Digital earlier this week. “No concerns.”
Trump has frequently expressed his disdain for Omar, and in a January Truth Social post called her “a constant complainer who hates the USA, knows everything there is to know. She should be in jail, or even a worse punishment, sent back to Somalia, considered one of the absolutely worst countries in the World. She could help to MAKE SOMALIA GREAT AGAIN!”
