Psaki elicits awkward seconds of silence trying to coax Epstein victim to implicate Trump

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki came up short when she tried to implicate President Donald Trump in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

Psaki elicited a painfully awkward exchange while interviewing Epstein victim Sharlene Rochard on Tuesday.

Psaki was questioning Rochard about parties she attended at Trump’s Florida Mar-a-Lago estate when she was a teenager.

“Did [Epstein] send you there? Were you told to go there?” Psaki asked.

Rochard explained that there were “a lot of model parties” at the estate that were set up by various people and magazines.

She denied that she was ever “sent” to Mar-a-Lago by Epstein.

So, Psaki pressed further.

“I just have to ask if you think [Trump] was aware of that arrangement,” Psaki finally blurted out.

Her question prompted a long pause from Rochard before answering.

“Um… I, I don’t know if he was aware,” she said. “Actually, I can’t answer that. I’m sorry.”

Psaki continued on as she appeared to be more concerned about disparaging Trump than the Epstein victim sitting right in front of her.

“And I think this is important for people to understand that people were in their teens and were young, and you were a, you were a young model and you were, you were handled by a predator.”

Psaki, like her Dem co-horts, are chomping at the bit to nail Trump in connection to Jeffrey Epstein. Lest we forget Psaki’s recent slip of the tongue that went viral:
