Now that the intolerant, left-wing media machine has succeeded in getting former Republican National Committee (RNC) chair Ronna McDaniel scrapped from appearing on MSNBC, they turn their campaign to getting her canned on NBC as well.
NBC News hired McDaniel as a paid contributor on Friday, two weeks after she stepped down at the RNC — keep in mind that she is the second former RNC chair on the payroll. Michael Steele is welcomed with open arms at the network because he spends his time on air bashing Trump and the Republican party he sadly led at one point. He even cohosts a weekend show on MSNBC.
“I want to associate myself with all my colleagues, both at MSNBC and at NBC News, who have voiced loud and principled objections to our company putting on the payroll someone who hasn’t just attacked us as journalists, but someone who is part of an ongoing project to get rid of our system of government,” Maddow said. “Someone who still is trying to convince Americans that this election stuff, it doesn’t really work. That this last election, it wasn’t a real result. That American elections are fraudulent.”
Taking ignorance to new levels, Maddow then tries to make the case that Trump supporters, including McDaniel, want to get rid of elections and install a dictator instead in Donald Trump — are their viewers really this dense?
Rachel Maddow: “Ronna McDaniel will not be on MSNBC. And I say that and give you that level of detail because there has been an effort since by other parts of the company to muddy that up in the press and make it seem like that’s not what happened at MSNBC.” pic.twitter.com/0QVcJjsTmZ

“It’s my understanding that MSNBC’s leadership did not object to Ronna McDaniel being hired by NBC News when the matter first arose, but when the hiring was announced, and MSNBC staff essentially unanimously and instantly expressed outrage, our leadership at MSNBC heard us, understood, and adjusted course,” she added. “We were told this weekend in clear terms Ronna McDaniel will not be on our air. Ronna McDaniel will not be on MSNBC.”
After celebrating the tail wagging the dog, Maddow then turned her attention to NBC and called on network executives to reverse their decision — all in the name of protecting democracy, of course.
“The fact that Ms. McDaniel is on the payroll at NBC News, to me that is inexplicable,” Maddow said. “You wouldn’t hire a made man like a mobster to work at a D.A.’s office, right? You wouldn’t hire a pick-pocket to work as a TSA screener.”
“So I find the decision to put her on the payroll inexplicable, and I hope they will reverse their decision,” she concluded, adding, “Take a minute, acknowledge that maybe it wasn’t the right call,” she said. “It is a sign of strength, not weakness, to acknowledge when you are wrong.”
Maddow followed MSNBC personalities like Morning Joe cohosts Joe Scarborough and Mike Brzezinski, Nicolle Wallace, and Lawrence O’Donnell publicly objecting on their shows — these being the same folks who embraced former Biden communication officials like Jen Psaki and Symone Sanders-Townsend to the network. Talk about audacity, even Psaki condemned McDaniel being hired.
