Two weeks after their electoral drubbing, Democrats are already showing signs that they are looking to move beyond the performative “woke” brats who have turned Congress into a clown show.
In a sign that the adults may be preparing to reassert control in the House of Representatives, racist loudmouth Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) was soundly beaten in her bid to become the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee chair.
The AOC wannabe’s efforts to displace longtime Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) for the leadership spot were shut down by her fellow Democrats by a resounding 152 to 59 votes earlier this week, a humiliating snub for the tantrum-thrower who some had suggested was the future of the party.
Well, that future arrived on November 5 and the subsequent days when President-elect Donald J. Trump shellacked Kamala Harris while the left-wing party lost both houses of Congress as Americans delivered a stinging referendum on Democrats, their extremist agenda, and the unserious crop of lawmakers that they’ve put forth since 2018 when “The Squad” was heralded as rock stars.
Crockett, who despite her inexperience had become a heroine to the media, easily won reelection in her Dallas, TX district but soon found out that she was much less popular with her congressional colleagues who can read the writing on the wall that sticking with progressives is a ticket to a lengthy period as a minority party.
According to Axios, “Crockett pitched herself as a master of new media who could help modernize the party following its 2024 election loss.”
“Reps. Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), Gabe Vasquez (D-NM), and Gwen Moore (D-WI), as well as Rep.-elect Kristen McDonald Rivet (D-MI), gave nominating speeches for Dingell, while Crockett was the only one who spoke on her behalf, a source in the room confirmed,” the Washington Examiner reported.
A legend in her own mind.
On Wednesday, Crockett took out her frustrations by reeling off another of her racist rants against white folks during a House Oversight Committee hearing on several pieces of legislation, including the GOP-sponsored H.R. 8706, aka the Dismantle DEI Act.
RACIST: Rep. Jasmine Crockett: “There has been no oppression for the white man in this country … it is white men on this side of the aisle telling us, people of color on this side of the aisle, that y’all are the ones being oppressed.” pic.twitter.com/8jsFtN2wop

“There has been no oppression for the white man in this country. You tell me which white men were dragged out of their homes,” raved Crockett. “You tell me which one of them got dragged all the way across an ocean and told that ‘You are going to go and work. We are going to steal your wives. We are going to rape your wives.’ That didn’t happen. That is oppression.”
Spoken like the racist that she is.
Crockett, who is quite possibly the dumbest member of the Democrat DEI crop of House lawmakers, appeared on MSNBC last month where she ridiculously claimed that the real gang violence comes from Trump supporters and not from the illegal alien thugs who have been imported by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

‘It is the white supremacists that have decided to descend upon places such as Springfield, Ohio. So I agree with them, I just disagree with who the problems are,” she said. “The problems are him and his minions,” ripping Trump after he visited the Denver, CO suburb where members of the vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua reportedly took over apartment complexes.
There’s nothing like an election beatdown to deliver a moment of clarity and the antics of Crockett and her ilk could soon be policed by members of their own party. Snubbing her leadership bid is a good start.
