Newly uncovered evidence strongly suggests the CIA has been quietly tracking outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
According to investigative journalist Catherine Herridge, a CIA investigative unit sent emails to members of Gabbard’s Director’s Initiatives Group (DIG) demanding they come in for questioning.
The problem was that while this particular investigative unit “routinely conducts polygraphs and investigations,” this time there didn’t appear to be any valid justification for the requests.

“The alleged CIA monitoring of the Director’s Initiatives Group was described as tracking ‘every keystroke’ on their government computers and devices,” Herridge reported in a social media article.
“While there is no expectation of privacy on government computers and users often see a log-on warning, it did not appear to be routine counterintelligence work by the CIA,” she added.
Gabbard’s DIG has reportedly been busy investigating the JFK, RFK, and MLK assassinations, in addition to the Russian collusion delusion hoax, the origins of COVID-19, and more.
Herridge further noted that her reporting is backed by recent congressional testimony from CIA whistleblower James Erdman III, whom she revealed had alleged “that the CIA illegally spied on the computers and phones of the [DIG].”
Treason..
“The CIA illegally monitored the computer and phone usage of DIG personnel, their investigations, and their contact with whistleblowers. For instance, Erdman testified about the DIG’s investigations into Directed Energy attacks, also known as Havana Syndrome or Anomalous Health Incidents (AHIs).
“This was not the first time the CIA appears to have been monitoring DIG communications,” Erdman said. “Individuals involved in our AHI investigation discovered third parties were listening in on secure phone calls at Intelligence Community facilities. In one instance, it was during a conversation with a whistleblower.”
During the DIG’s investigation of AHIs, the CIA reportedly denied Gabbard’s underlings “access to key analysts and officials still working in the CIA building, as well as relevant, highly classified intelligence held in compartmented programs,” according to Herridge.
It was almost as if the CIA was trying to stymie or “cover up” the investigations.

According to Herridge, the CIA also blocked Gabbard’s team from reviewing records from the former Biden administration’s own and very suspicious investigation into AHIs.
“The Biden-era Intelligence Community assessments concluded it was unlikely that a novel weapon or foreign adversary was responsible for the debilitating brain injuries suffered by spies, diplomats, military personnel, and some civilians — injuries that can lead to brain cell atrophy and death,” Herridge noted.
Here’s the kicker: Gabbard’s team reportedly found that the “analytic tradecraft” used by the Biden-era investigative units was “defective.” However, their final report was never released due in part to “strong Intelligence Community resistance to revealing it.”
In other words, the “deep state” doesn’t appear to want the true story about AHIs, not to mention a number of other controversial subjects, to be released publicly.
Sen. Rand Paul responded to Herridge’s reporting by writing on social media that “the CIA appears to be ILLEGALLY SPYING on @DNIGabbard ‘s team, INTERFERING w/ investigations on the COVID coverup, the JFK, MLK, & RFK assassinations, UAPs, etc.”

Gen. Michael Flynn, a former member of the first Trump administration, also responded to her reporting.
“How many errors can the nation afford before there is radical reform and reorganization of the Central Intelligence Agency?” he asked in a tweet. “Which @POTUS will have the guts to do what JFK wanted to do but never had the chance?”
Herridge dropped her report a day before Gabbard announced her pending, upcoming resignation so that she may take care of her cancer-stricken husband.
I am deeply grateful for the trust President Trump placed in me and for the opportunity to lead @ODNIgov for the last year and a half.
Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare… pic.twitter.com/PS0Dxp5zpd
