Randi Weingarten posts ‘false flag conspiracy theory’ about alleged assassin Tyler Robinson

Randi Weingarten, head of the National Teachers’ Union, shared a post on X that is being called a “false flag conspiracy theory.”

The far-left’s reaction to Charlie Kirk’s assassination has ranged from celebration of his violent murder to denial that his killer is associated with their political ideology. Now, Weingarten is getting in on the conversation by sharing a message that appears to be nothing more than a conspiracy theory.

Look:

“The leftist students in Utah who didn’t want Charlie Kirk to speak did what leftists do: they signed petitions, staged a protest, and lined up to challenge him,” the Threads, post shared by Weingarten, reads. “The right winger who didn’t want Charlie Kirk to speak did what right wingers do and shot him. We are not the same!”

The teachers’ union head shared this message with the caption “This seems important to state.”

“Teachers union chief Randi Weingarten is spreading the false flag conspiracy theory about Tyler Robinson,” Free Beacon editor Peter Hasson wrote, sharing the surprising take.

Weingarten made a follow-up post apologizing, saying she will delete the initial post and saying that we should “de-escalate and condemn political violence.”

That didn’t stop her from getting roasted:
