Raskin practically drools over Biden’s ‘remarkable’ anti-Trump J6 diatribe

President Joe Biden’s angry anti-Trump diatribe marking the third anniversary of the January 6, 2021 chaos at the Capitol sent a thrill up the legs of leftists including Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) who gushed about the geriatric leader’s ugly rant.

The deeply unpopular Democrat opened the year of his reelection campaign with a ferocious attack on his likely opponent whom he accused of leading an insurrection and likened to Hitler while presenting himself as the sole protector of democracy, whatever that term even means anymore.

Biden’s rant, delivered near historic Valley Forge greatly impressed Raskin who hailed his leader’s extended attack on Trump and the tens of millions of loyal Americans who support him during an appearance on Friday’s edition of “Deadline: White House” on MSNBC.

“Well, it was a remarkable speech which spoke directly to the moment and it was delivered with amazing passion and conviction and integrity,” he said. “And it was the kind of speech, I think, that will galvanize and mobilize millions and millions of people across the country to get in this fight.”

“This is not an election where people can sit on the sofa and look back and watch the polls and so this is an election where people need to be involved in the process,” he continued, seeming to call for leftists to take action beyond merely voting in an election that is the most important in the nation’s history in terms of allowing a once-free country to be sucked into the authoritarian leftist abyss.

“So, you know, don’t be in the prognostication business, be in the mobilization business,” the congressman continued. “And that’s what Joe Biden was saying. You know, everything is on the line right here.”

“We must be clear, democracy is on the ballot,” Biden proclaimed during his address at Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, Pa., near the site of George Washington’s winter encampment during the Revolutionary War.

Biden’s invoking of the term “democracy” comes as his party is working to strip conservative voters of their rights to participate in the traditional democratic process by banning Trump from state ballots, currently in Colorado and Maine but likely to rapidly spread to other states controlled by the mutated version of the Democratic Party which no longer even remotely resembles that of its iconic leaders John F. Kennedy and Franklin D. Roosevelt, but rather that of a political entity normally seen in despotic banana republics.

Few Democrats have been more radical than Raskin, a former academic who has been an outspoken champion of using dubious interpretations of the Constitution including the 14th Amendment to disqualify Trump – and likely many others – from their ability to hold political office based on a Civil War-era provision that has been repurposed as a political weapon for the modern era.

“You know, everything is on the line right here, and the question is what kind of century is this going to be for America and for the rest of the world?” Raskin asked.
