Fox News’s Bill Melugin has provided a disappointing update on a cocky illegal immigrant from Haiti.
In January 2025, an illegal Haitian immigrant “gang member with 17 criminal convictions” praised former Presidents Joe Biden and Obama, and cursed President Donald Trump as he was being arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. He stared directly into the Fox News camera as he boldly declared “I’m not going back to Haiti.”
“F*ck Trump! You feel me? Yo, Biden forever, bro! Thank Obama for everything he did for me, bro!” he shouted.
Now, one year later, it appears that he was absolutely correct. Melugin updated Americans on X, revealing how long the deportation process can sometimes take, and reporting that the man was still in ICE custody and remains in the United States for the time being.

“How long & complicated can the deportation process be? Remember this Haitian gang member w/ 17 convictions who went viral for yelling ‘F*ck Trump, Biden forever’ during my embed with ICE Boston 1 year ago?” Melugin wrote. “He’s still in ICE custody in the US. Despite having a deportation order, I’m told he continues to use every legal avenue & appeal to try to avoid deportation.”
“He is currently detained by ICE at a facility in Louisiana,” the post reveals. “We witnessed him get arrested by ICE in Boston on 1/22/25.”
