Richard Grenell calls out Biden-Harris admin failure in ‘accidentally’ giving Taliban $239M

Terrorists and “Your tax dollars!” were the subject of a new report that saw a former intelligence official slamming the Biden-Harris administration for a nine-figure “accident.”

As tensions in the Middle East appeared ready to boil over ahead of Iran’s stated intent to attack Israel, it appears that President Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan cost even more than the lives of 13 service members and billions of dollars worth of equipment.

Saturday, the Leading Report detailed that the State Department’s Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) and International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) divisions had handed out at least $239 million that likely wound up in the hands of the Taliban after failing to properly vet nonprofits established for the sole purpose of swindling the United States out of aid money.

“The State Department gave $239 million to the Taliban. Your tax dollars!” wrote former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell as he shared the report on X calling out Secretary of State Antony Blinken. “@ABlinken and @StateINL didn’t notice that the requesting NGO was fake — a front for the Taliban. The DC media is largely silent because they protect Democrats.”

While Leading Report suggested the government “accidentally” distributed the funds to the nonprofits, former U.S. Navy SEAL and podcaster Shawn Ryan contended, “This is no accident. We broke this story 3 different times before anyone picked this up. It is 40-87 million a week. And YOU are paying for it. If you are a U.S. citizen paying taxes, you are actively funding terrorism.”

He went on to share clips from his program that had previously covered the ongoing funding of the Taliban since 2021.

“We are paying Taliban families for basically dying while attacking us,” said former CIA Intelligence Analyst Sarah Adams who served as a senior adviser to the House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi.

Adding to Ryan’s reporting, journalist Lara Logan called out, “The Biden Admin not only handed over an entire country to the terrorists responsible for 9/11, they have been using your tax dollars to keep them afloat as they have built the most prolific terror state in history, graduating tens of thousands from terrorist madrassas where they are taught bomb making, etc.”

“This is confirmed by Afghan intel sources on the ground & US intel agencies. so this Administration knows what it is funding & they keep sending the money. They also know that thanks to the biometric equipment & personnel the US knowingly left behind, the terrorists are being issued passports with altered biometrics to hide their identities. Yet they have done nothing to stop this. And the southern border is effectively wide open,” she went on. “When you can’t win an election at the ballot, how do you set the conditions for chaos & violence?”

As previously reported, Americans have remained hostages to Hamas for more than 300 days since the Oct. 7 terror attack on Israel. Amlog Meir Jan filed suit in the Western District of Washington state in July with his own allegation that taxpayer money was directly aiding Hamas.

One of four hostages rescued by the Israeli Defense Forces, Jan was found with Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv being held in the home of The Palestine Chronicle contributor Abdallah Aljamal.

According to his suit, “Under the leadership of Defendants [editor-in-chief] Ramzy Baroud and [People Media Project governor] John Harvey, Defendant Palestine Chronicle employed Hamas Operative Aljamal and offered him its U.S. platform to write and disseminate Hamas propaganda, ultimately subsidized, through its status as a tax-exempt charitable organization, by U.S. taxpayers.”

The ensuing outrage over the report called out the hypocrisy of the administration’s oversight of citizens compared to themselves while also suggesting what remained unreported was likely far worse.
