Rosie O’Donnell joins boycott to dump Disney over Kimmel

Rosie O’Donnell joined the call to boycott ABC and its parent company, Disney, as well as their advertisers for suspending late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel.

The former co-host of “The View” took to social media over the weekend to rally her followers to join the boycott after “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” was pulled off the air “indefinitely” following its host’s disinformation about Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin.

“Boycott ABC And Disney And Their Advertisers,” an image shared by O’Donnell read on Instagram.

Entertainment research and data firm, Exhibitor Relations, shared a “Protest Playbook” to “Save Jimmy Kimmel” in X posts last week as the meltdown continued over Kimmel’s suspension.

“Cancel Disney+ → when you cancel, leave feedback,” one post instructed.

“Cut back Disney spending → parks, movies, merch. Even small choices add up if enough people do it,” it continued. “Skip ABC programming → ratings matter. If you stop watching, make it clear why.”

Meanwhile, O’Donnell, who escaped to Ireland to protest President Donald Trump’s return to the White House, was trashing him for Disney’s decision to yank Kimmel off the air.

“Now Trump gets to decide who tells late-night jokes,” she whined during a drinking rant from a tavern in Northern Ireland.

“This is unacceptable,” O’Donnell wrote on Instagram last week. “F–k this fascist administration and corrupt corporate executives – bowing to the orange monster – America is no more .”

Her latest rallying cry to boycott ABC and Disney prompted her leftist followers to comply.

“I’m Australian but I canceled my subscription to Disney yesterday. It’s not much but it’s my small way to support,” one Instagram user wrote.

“I sold my Disney stock and canceled our Disney World vacation,” another user shared.

“I’ve been watching GMA and Live with Kelly for years and this week was the first time I didn’t! We deleted our Disney account. It’s a small thing but I also heard Disney stock was down as well. So let’s keep this going!” wrote another.

While calls for a boycott circulated on X as well, many blasted O’Donnell for the double standard.
