The Trump administration continues its immigration crackdown as another group of illegal migrant gang members was deported to El Salvador.
“Last night, another 10 criminals from the MS-13 and Tren de Aragua Foreign Terrorist Organizations arrived in El Salvador,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Sunday in a social media post.
“The alliance between @POTUS and President @nayibbukele has become an example for security and prosperity in our hemisphere,” Rubio wrote on X.

President Donald Trump noted in a post on Truth Social that he was “looking forward” to meeting with El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele, who is scheduled to be at the White House this week.
“Our Nations are working closely together to eradicate terrorist organizations, and build a future of Prosperity. President Bukele has graciously accepted into his Nation’s custody some of the most violent alien enemies of the World and, in particular, the United States,” President Trump said in a Truth Social post on Saturday.

Last week, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Bukele will be at the White House on an “official working visit” this week to meet with Trump.
“They will discuss El Salvador’s partnership on using their super max prison for Tren de Aragua and MS-13 gang members, and how El Salvador’s cooperation with the United States has become a model for others to work with this administration,” Leavitt told reporters.
