Rubio predicts next GOP president will be under ‘tremendous pressure’ to indict Biden, ‘crackhead’ son

The country crossed over into an entirely new era with the indictment of former President Donald J. Trump in a politically charged move by the Biden regime and Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) believes that forces have now been unleashed that will have lasting consequences.

The Florida Republican joined Fox News for Tuesday afternoon’s edition of “America Reports” as the conservative network monitored the progress of the 2024 frontrunner who was on the way to the Miami courthouse where he would soon be arraigned on charges brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith.

“I think it’s incredibly damaging to the country,” Rubio said, noting the attacks on U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon as well as damage done to “important institutions” like the Department of Justice and FBI.

“These documents of this nature don’t belong at Biden’s garage, they don’t belong on Hillary Clinton’s server, they don’t belong at Mar-a-Lago, but there’s no allegation here, even if you read the indictment nowhere does it say ‘and as a result the national security of the United States was harmed in this way.’”

“And you have to weigh that with an indictment that now is going to put our country… already divided and polarized country in a really dangerous place,” the senator continued. “Because now all of our institutions are being undermined, now the whole country, we’re watching this spectacle play out and it will for the next year and a half, not to mention there are real questions whether the president can get a fair shake here,” he said, pointing out the immense difficulties of Trump even being able to retain legal representation.

“China is all over the world undermining us and we are fighting with each other about stuff like this that should never have been brought, and so I just think it’s a sad and terrible day,” he added. “I know there’s people in the press that are giddy about it, Democrats and partisans that are giddy about it, but this is really bad for America, this indictment.”

“It was a bad decision to bring it. I don’t think it was justified or merited and we’re gonna pay a terrible price for it,” he said.

“This is not just a former president,” the Republican lawmaker later added. “This is as of today, the likeliest opponent to the sitting president in the next election.”

“You think this ends here?” Rubio asked. “The next Republican president is going to be under tremendous pressure to bring charges and indict Joe Biden, his family, his crackhead son, whoever. The pressure’s gonna be extraordinary.”

If that next Republican president is Trump, there will be hell to pay for Biden and his “crackhead son” whom he vowed to go after if he survives the regime’s weaponizing of the federal legal apparatus against him.

“I will appoint a real special ‘prosecutor’ to go after the most corrupt president in the history of the USA, Joe Biden, the entire Biden crime family, & all others involved with the destruction of our elections, borders, & country itself,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Monday.
